Finding the perfect wedding dress for your particular body type is easy when you have some direction. In this feature, we discuss the best wedding dresses for a pear shape body. A pear shape is described as having narrow shoulders, a smaller waist, and fuller hips. The key to dressing for this shape is to balance out the smaller top half and a larger bottom half. So how do we do this? First, determine the shape of the dress you want. If you are looking for an a-line or a princess ball gown, these are the perfect silhouettes to start with. If you are thinking of a mermaid or fit to flare, this is definitely doable with a few strategic additions. Next, you work with the appropriate neck line.
