TheHide.TV Everyday Sniper Podcast, Tim Parkhurst Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation Tim Parkhurst from the Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation is at the VFW Convention in Columbus Ohio this week and we had a chance to Scout Sniper over the years with him Raising money for the Memorial has opened a treasure trove of history in terms of Marine Scout Snipers over the Years. This is opening the books to our time fighting for America since the beginning. Tim has turned into a real historian in regards to Scout Snipers throughout American History. Support the Heritage Foundation, Raffles, Donations, we need a couple Million to build the statue. TheHide.TV : Everyday Sniper Podcast, NF ELR After Action Sorry for the delay on this, Chris and I did a live on TheHide.TV and it was late when we ended so I never converted this file. The Free flow style of these Lives are awesome, we can talk about the various projects are engaged in, we can answer the viewers questions and really just have an open format discussing precision rifle shooting. Chris attended the NF ELR event and I was in Iowa teaching with Marc and Laura. We touch each event as we saw it, my experience in Iowa and Chris's experience at the ELR Event. TheHide.TV Everyday Sniper Podcast: Wind Wednesday May Edition I'm back, sorry I missed you guys, I was live on the Hide, but I didn't hit record on the podcast. My Bad. But the weather is not cooperating with me, so range days have been light to say the least. I have managed to get the 6mm Arc spun up, Greg from Bugholes did a nice job spinning up my 2, 6mm ARC barrels. Then, added them to my Terminus Zeus, to top it off, I dropped everything into a Zermatt Matterhorn chassis. Great conversations though today, Live on YouTube and the Hide, we had a nice crowd. Hey Everyday Sniper Fans, Welcome to the TheHide.TV podcast, and in this episode I again simulcast to the Hide TV Page, but more importantly, I talk bullet weights.We just got in from the Range on a Windy week out here on the front range. And with the new Detroit Gun Works rifle I was checking different load weights to see which performed the best. After testing the 100gr Hornady VT and the 130gr Norma Golden Target where the two best performers. I wanted to see which bullet had the best balance of speed and performance. Both the 100gr and 130gr Bullets were the best load wise. I mentioned a couple of articles Chris wrote, I want to link them here: Wheel of Time - Time of Flight Choosing the Right Bullet Remember these aren't events but a process to use Marc's words, so we want to experiment and see what works for our style of shooting. TheHide.TV Everyday Sniper Podcast: Paul Craddock Interview I get to geek out a bit, I am interviewing Paul Craddock today. Ever since the Valkyrie I have been fanboying window shopping Craddock Precision ARs. Since was planning a 6 ARC project, I wanted to pair that 6 ARC bolt gun with a 6 ARC gas gun to see the pipeline. What's the accuracy, what the ranges, how does it perform on command like a competition rifle ? The Terminus Zeus in 6 ARC is here, the Zermatt Matterhorn is here, now to pair with a gas gun. The interview Paul is a great background. We learn the history of Craddock Precision, Paul's gun building philosophy. How he approaches the AR15, AR10 which might be different from the other guys. A great example is roughly 15 different gas lengths. I want to thank Nick for putting us together, this conversation flowed. It moved in a nice logical direction touching on the ins and outs of a gas gun.From Valkyrie to ARC, to larger Frame ARs, we touch on it all. Everyday Sniper Podcast: HideTV Putting the 6ARC Pieces in Place All the pieces are in place for our 6ARC projects. We have the Terminus Zeus Action with the PPU bolt, we have the Bartlein Barrels being spun up by Greg at Bugholes and we have the ammo coming in along with a chassis for the rifle. I am super excited to get this project moving and think it will make a new videos series on the Hide.
