04. Stop Avoiding Accountability
From The Filmmaker's Venture by Alec Latulippe

About this episode
The episode discusses the importance of accepting personal responsibility and not blaming external circumstances for one's situation.
One of my favorite quotes is " People are sometimes more willing to accept the pain they know than to face the fear of things they don't. But that doesn't mean people can't change." - Bruce D Schnieder It can be very easy to sit and blame our circumstances on external things like our bosses, politicians, our kids, etc. Everyone is dealt a different hand, but those who succeed accept the hand they have and play the game anyway. They understand that their circumstance don't change their responsibility to themselves and their family. Those who fail blame the hand and those with better ones. They fold. They choose to believe that they are at the effect of their world, not the cause of it. Will you play or fold?
