I was super lucky to be joined by Fr Rob and my friend Ashley as a co-host to talk about Fr Rob's story. In this episode: Fr Rob grew up in Malta, a party island, and developed depression and anxiety as a teen. After hitting rock bottom, he joined a Christian youth group and later - the priesthood. We talk about prayer, misconceptions of the Catholic church and what Fr Rob's "elevator pitch" about Catholicism is. After developing a vision impairment as a teen, he went from tradie training to an economics degree. He's gone on to be a lawyer, CEO and now - Commissioner for Disability Workers. In this episode: Dan tells us about his career, which began with being unemployed straight out of uni. He now focuses on championing the rights of people with disabilities and suggests how we all can be part of it. We talk about ableism and how the world is not designed for all abilities. After completing half of a law degree, she realised the power that entrepreneurial skills has in empowering people - especially those who are disadvantaged. **In this episode: **Daizy talks about growing up in Griffith NSW and the racism that she faced growing up. She tells us about how her independent nature led her to travel to India as a teenager, volunteer in Thailand and Tanzania and found her own university club.
