Stephan Mills On this episode of The I in Us Paul and Cody were delighted to welcome intersex activist and medical student Stephan Mills (he/him) to the show. Currently based in Italy, Stephan is in his last year of medical school and just weeks from graduating. He started doing activism in 2019 with the Italian intersex group “Intersexioni” and throughout these years has participated in many interviews, including on Italian National TV, has given lectures on intersex issues to various Italian universities, and has collaborated with other associations and medical professionals in the creation of an information website on intersex variations. As a future medical doctor graduating in a few short weeks, Stephan will be at the forefront of how intersex people are supported in medical settings for years to come. On this episode we gain insight into what drives him and what he hopes to achieve.
