She was later spotted near her home and spoke to both of her parents by phone that evening. Despite appearing in good spirits, she failed to report for work the next day and has not been seen or heard from since. Police later treated the case as a suspected murder, with multiple individuals arrested and subsequently released without charge. Lawrence's fate remains unknown.
