Jason established Game Fishing Ireland in 2013, based on a lifetime of experience in fishing and guiding on the rivers, lakes and coastline in the area. Jason regularly gives talks on fishing techniques at the leading angling shows in Ireland and is an IFFF Qualified Fly Casting Instructor in addition to being a member of the Mackenzie Pro Team for Ireland and an authorised Fulling Mill Guide.Jason is also just back from a salt water Seatrout fishing trip in Denmark and gives some wonderfull insights into the fishing over there.Always helpfull and a natural teacher Jason gives us some great advice and tips regarding salt water fly and lure fishing.

In this episode of the lure fishing podacst I chat with West Palm Beach, FL native Emily Rose Hanzlik.20 year old Emily has been fishing since she was big enough to hold a fishing rod and has already caught a staggerring 300 different species.Emily has been targeting IGFA World records with her father since she was 12 years old. She currently holds over 70 IGFA World records for species such as Peacock bass, Blacktip Shark, Grass carp and many many others.Emily also works with organizations that teach kids how to fish. Also currently studying to be a Marine Biologist, Emilys passion and knowledge for all things angling and helping others to get into the sport is obvious .In this podcast Emilys shares some of her vast knowledge in relation to landing big fish on light line and much more.A wonderful chat and a fantastic natural role model for all anglers.

Andy has represented his country winning the Zandermaster title in 2016 and finishing 2nd in the team event at the World predator classic in Holland in 2017. Andy's knowledge of so many aspects of lure fishing is second to none and he is a fantastic friendly guy. In this podcast he gives so much advice and tells us about his many fishing adventures including a recent trip to Norway targeting flat fish from the shore on lures. In another fantastic episode of the summer sessions on the lure fishing podcast we have great chat with top bass angler Emlyn O Toole. Emlyn based in County Wexford is one of the most skillful bass anglers out there. He has developed an immense watercraft skillset. In this episode he shares some of his secrets which has helped him catch some big bass including two double figure fish in one day. Emlyn is very humble and great guy he is the ultimate bass angling Ninja.

The summer sessions continue with a fantastic chat with Bass Angler Keith Barker. Keith really has been a putting great effort into his bass fishing on the Waterford and Cork coastline over the last few years. This has resulted in some wonderful catches and some very big bass. In this episode I have a brilliant chat with Keith who shares some of his great knowledge and sound advice.

In this episode of the Lure Fishing Podcast over a year on from when we chatted on the very first episode i was delighted to catch up with Michael Kelly founder of Evo Bass Lures. I was very excited to talk to Michael about the new lure he has developed called the Dagger. A very unique swimbait - shad type lure. Knowing Michael and his knowledge and attention to detail in his lure development I know this lure is going to be something special. We also look back on the success of the Lance and Sabre Evo lures and get an insight into how Michael developed the dagger. A really fascinating insight into Michaels world of lure making and we chat about the bass fishing of course, enjoy.

In Episode 27 of the Lure Fishing Podcast I catch up with passionate bass angler Matt Cumbers. In 2017 Matt decided that he wanted to try design and produce his own lures. Matt is passionate about his lure fishing and he gives a great insight into what it takes to get from concept stage to actual designing and creating a lure that not only works well but is durable and affordable. Mike is one of the most knowledgeable anglers out there, with a Phd in Marine biology he has has contributed to hundreds of articles papers and books on the subject of marine life and angling.
