| 6/20/26 | ![]() Tie One On For Dad | I think you reach a certain age, where you start to become very reflective on your life – where you’ve been and where you’re headed. For me, this weekend provides the opportunity to take time out of my busy schedule and reinforce what I already know… my Dad is truly a role model and mentor. There are always actions and traits that dads pass down to their sons – how to shave, how to carry oneself, and… how to tie a necktie. But where did that last fashion statement originate. The formality of knotting a piece of material around one’s neck in a Windsor, half-Windsor, four-in-hand, Prince Albert, simple, Kelvin, Pratt, Eldredge, Van Wijk, Trinity, Murrell, Balthus and… the classic bow-tie. Phew! That’s a knot to try and digest, but, as is the case on every episode of The Missing Chapter, we’ll dissect all of the history behind the origins on this Father’s Day tribute and, if you’re watching us, you’ll see us demonstrate our own preference on how to tie our ties. It’s a Missing Chapter, Father’s Day Special, and it wouldn’t be complete without the coffee. Thanks for joining us!Want some Missing Chapter merchandise? Click HERE! | — | ||||||
| 6/13/26 | ![]() The Real Indiana Jones? | If you are as obsessive as I am, I go crazy when I can’t find something. It drives me nuts. I will search far and wide and I am a man on a mission until this object is found. I think there is something about the human mind that naturally gravitates toward finding the lost - like lost treasure. People have crossed deserts, financed expeditions, started wars, and ruined their lives trying to find things that may not even exist anymore. But there’s one object that stands above all of them. The Ark of the Covenant. Not because it was worth money, but because of what it represented. God’s Presence. History. Proof even! And maybe that’s why people have spent over 2,500 years trying to find it. Movies turned it into legend. Historians turned it into mystery. And ever since Raiders of the Lost Ark gave us the line, “They’re digging in the wrong place”, people have been convinced the Ark is still out there somewhere - hidden, buried, waiting to be discovered. Some say it’s beneath Jerusalem. Others say elsewhere. But one man, in 1982, said, “I found it.” So today on The Missing Chapter, we’re diving into one of history’s greatest unsolved mysteries - the search for the Ark of the Covenant. The only solution to a story so wild and controversial is more coffee. Caffeine up, everyone, this is going to be a crazy one. Welcome to the Missing Chapter.Want some Missing Chapter merchandise? | 3/21/26 | ![]() It’s Raining Meat… Hallelujah…. It’s Raining Meat! | “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” is a beloved children's book by Judi Barrett about the town of Chewandswallow, where food falls from the sky for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, until the weather turns bad and giant food storms threaten the town, forcing the residents to find a new way to live. The story, first published in 1978, is known for its imaginative concept and inspired the popular animated film adaptation, though the movie changes the plot to involve a food-making machine. Crazy, right? Completely fictionalized, right? What if I were to tell you that in 1876, a small family farm in Kentucky experienced a phenomena eerily similar to this children’s book plot… Would you believe me? Check your calendar because it’s not April Fool’s Day, but it is Saturday and this is another “you cannot be serious” episode of your favorite podcast. So, brew another pot because coffee goes with everything…. including meat. Welcome to Missing Chapter!Want some Missing Chapter merchandise? Click HERE! | — | ||||||

| 2/14/26 | ![]() Kneading The Nation | What if I told you that, for nearly a quarter of a century, a cookie recipe—yes, a cookie recipe—could predict the next President of the United States? That between stump speeches and State of the Union addresses, there was another kind of political showdown happening... not in Washington, not on TV, but in kitchens across America. It started in 1992, with one offhand remark from Hillary Clinton—about baking cookies—and it spiraled into a national obsession. It was a mirror of the times, mixing sugar, politics, and a dash of cultural expectation. So grab a cup of coffee—and maybe a cookie—and join us as we uncover the surprising story of how a magazine contest… meant to soften an image… ended up revealing the changing recipe of American politics.Want some Missing Chapter merchandise?
