from unmet expectations to seeing motherhood through the wrong lens, in today's podcast, I share some vulnerable places I have been in my walk as a mother and ways I have kept myself from fully enjoying Mother's Day because of my mindset. I also share a special message for those who are painfully walking through Mother's Day, may it be from the loss of your mother, the loss of a child, or a longing that has been unanswered... however the pain is showing up in your life today, I pray the words that have been spoken breathe life over your spirit.

A gentle reminder for our spirits and hearts of who God says we are, who He has called us to be and a reminder to live fully in knowing these truths. Happy April 1st!

"It's ok if our quiet time looks messy or loud and if our prayers look like scattered thoughts" motherhood may not be a season of deep and long devotionals, but it is a season of finding God in moments. There is grace for you in the season of motherhood. Let's seek the Kingdom of God above all else in whatever capacity we can and find a way to embrace the messy and embrace the imperfection and above all else, embrace the Father.

Today, we will talk about two things: "the importance of teaching our children to communicate respectfully" & "the importance of how we [as parents] respond". Let's jump into scenarios that involve raw emotions instead of calm communication and what happens when we change the phrase “because I said so” in our vocabulary.

This was going to be an amazing adventure, but something was simmering below the surface. Come with me as I share a real story with you of what a messy moment in life looked like and how a not-so-perfect moment turned into a God moment. This episode's questions: How often do we focus on the tasks at hand and forget about the hearts in our home? and How can we create an atmosphere in our home where we can start over?
