The Outliers

The show has necessarily taken a turn towards things that are more urgent, more important than the usual schtick we peddle. It reflects where our heads and our hearts are. Things like video game news pale in comparison to what we believe could be a moment in time that marks a true beginning for long overdue change in the country we live in, and indeed around the world.

Been doing lots! Some Resident Evil 3 Remake, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Valorant, some Twitch drama... video game stuff and trying to find animation to watch like The Kirlian Frequency. What kind of show could Warhammer 40K make for?

Still stuck at home so we are getting hyped for some upcoming video games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake, checked out the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, comparing The Witcher video game to the show, and will PS5 and Xbox Series X launches be affected by current state of affairs. Stay inside and stay healthy everyone!

We're all over the place this time around with complaints about Harley Quinn cartoons, what the WWE did to The Fiend, and a few other things. But never fear! It wouldn't be complete without a little Marvel MCU news... in the X-Men casting corner of the universe. And for all the fighting game players out there: Do you choose your fighter based on character tier lists something else? Tier lists are in the spotlight this week and how useful or useless they actually are.

Ok kids we almost lost this episode to technical difficulties. But it was salvaged. So keep that in mind if ya hear some pops and fades... On the menu this week: Delayed video games, some Shenmue 3 impressions, streamers and their influence on smaller games, then we close out with some good ol' Marvel MCU stuff and whats going on with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The holidays are just about over and it's time to bring in the new year! We have a unique list of 2019 things that left an impression on us, a look at some of the greatest anime over the last decade or so, and we wrap it up with the story of Chelsea FC's road to the 2012 UEFA Champions League Final. Happy Holidays everyone! It's gonna be a throwback week to some more classic Fanmob content. Going through some old files and found this DC Animation gem with our former co-host Jumma Jahdid. We're covering Wonder Woman, Batman, Justie League, Aquaman, and all sorts of great animated superhero movies. This was our 3rd podcast episode we ever recorded from back in 2012, so the audio quality is not the same as our usual stuff, but it is more listenable and is definitely very informative blast from the past!

While everyone is on candy overload from Halloween we're over here celebrating The Fiend's big win at Crown Jewel! Following up with our last episode we pick up with the conclusion of WWE's Crown Jewel event and discuss the aftermath. Lots of gaming news in the back half of the show with Death Stranding reviews, Telltale's The Walking Dead, Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC, and more. With one of the Outliers out of town getting some ink done we are happy to bring you another classic Fanmob episode with special guest Sean Brown! Who is that, you might ask. Back when we were doing Fanmob our cohost Jumma Jahdid brought in a friend to discuss some gaming topics such as PC or console, Xbox One, and lots of other video game related stuff. I'm sure there is some comics talk in there too. I think the actual Age of Ultron comic was wrapping up at the time. So enjoy this throw back and we'll see you next week!

Last week we talked about glitches in the matrix of life and this week we're dealing with what appears to be an actual real life hack that may have been perpetrated against one of us. Oh the irony in that! So we have a personal rant that some of you might learn something from right up front. After we cool down we talk some TV: Carnival Row and 13 Reasons Why. Then we get HYPED for what we're considering the next big super.... villain movie: JOKER.

It's that time of year again... Silicon Valley Comic Con 2019 is happening and half of the Outliers made it to the show, as usual. We bring you this years SVCC experience. Then we get into some serious allegations that surfaced after this years Evo pro gaming tournament, a little Borderlands 3 news, indie dev studio Unfold Games declines Epic's exclusivity offer, and even more gaming news out of the FGC after a Smash Bros character is banned from tournamanet play.
