About this episode
MLB analyst Matt Clement discusses pitching issues, player comparisons, and the potential greatness of Shohei Ohtani.
MLB analyst Matt Clement joins the show. Matt says that Mitch Keller’s control has been a big issue during his rough stretch these past 6 starts. Matt also says that he is not a fan of the Mlodzinski piggy back thing, as he thinks he is the best right-handed arm in the Pirates bullpen by far. He thinks that Dotel should be the guy in the piggyback role. More with Matt Clement. Matt thinks that Shohei Ohtani might have an argument to be the greatest baseball player of all time when he retires. He says that Ohtani isn’t quite the hitter Barry Bonds was, but Bonds also did not pitch at an elite level, or at all. Barry Bonds was 0/3 against Matt Clement the year he broke the home run record.
