About this episode

Matt Cochrane discusses the book 'Buffettology' and its insights into Warren Buffett's investing methods.

In this podcast, Matt Cochrane and I discuss Buffettology , a book written in the late 1990’s by Mary Buffett. She wrote this book about what she learned about Buffett’s investing methods from when she was married to Peter Buffett. I think that the book is a pretty good summary of Buffett’s investing approach, especially for people that are unfamiliar with it. This was one of the first books I read about Warren Buffett when I first started to get interested in value investing. For Buffett aficionado’s, a lot of the insights might seem pretty basic, but I think that’s the point. It really distills Buffett’s philosophy into a very accessible way.
