About this episode
This sermon discusses the biblical passage John 1: 43-46 and includes a personal anecdote related to watching 'The Lord of the Rings'.
This sermon is based on John 1: 43-46. It was first preached in January, 2009. The intro includes the very real story of how I got into "The Lord of the Rings" in the first place. What I left out is the fact that I drank a huge amount of Pepsi during the first hour of "The Two Towers" and...um...paid the price, because I did not want to get up during the rest of the film and risk missing an important scene. Lesson learned. For more info, visit https://stmarkchester.org
