| 9/3/26 | All the juiciest college football gossip you need before Week 1 with Jessica Smetana and Lucy Rohden | Madeline and Charlotte are back with a very exciting episode: a crossover with Jessica Smetana and Lucy Rohden, two dear friends of SGS who have started a great new show, College Football Happy Hour. The four women in STEM get into all sorts of CFB drama, including Lane Kiffin’s LSU insanity, whether Arch Manning is interesting, Bobby Petrino’s coaching renaissance for Bill Belichick at UNC and Jordon Hudson’s recent outfit, USC’s lack of fans (lol), Notre Dame’s professionalism, Iowa’s quarterback mess, and much more. Finally, the show ends with an insane story about Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend’s parents getting themselves kicked out of the very welcoming Iowa community. You’ll have to listen to believe. | — | ||||||
| 9/1/26 | Tom Brady’s leather pants, Travis Kelce’s new ad (and dog), Coco Gauff’s mom, Taylor Fritz’s new girlfriend, and the crazy Daejon Love 49ers scam | Madeline and Charlotte are back at Sports Gossip HQ (Charlotte’s apartment) and they’ve got a bunch of gossip for their Shareholders. They start with Tom Brady’s leather pants, because Charlotte scored an exclusive interview with the much-maligned garment. Then it’s on to Travis Kelce’s Tommy Hilfiger ad, in which his and Taylor Swift’s dog makes her debut. Coco Gauff’s mom posted on Instagram that she can’t give people US Open tickets, so stop asking! Tennis star Taylor Fritz is dating Olivia Jade, and his ex, Morgan Riddle, made her presence known at the US Open in the best way possible. Messi retired from international play, so he’s just chilling in Florida now. Then the gals get into the Daejon Love scandal. Love posed as a 49ers player and scammed at least 26 women out of 1.3 million dollars, and Madeline interviewed one of the victims. And, finally, Joshua Kushner’s very silly comments about the FIFA deal that fell through. | — | ||||||
| 8/27/26 | Some personal news + a 2026 athlete summer wedding roundup and compressed florals rating | Madeline and Charlotte are back in action from Maine, and they start off the show with some news.49ers owner Jed York was arrested in Ohio…Callaway Golf and Good Good Golf put out a terrible ad and also had a pretty bad PR response to the backlash. Then: A rundown of all the summer athlete weddings and a compression rating for their floral arrangements! Cavs star Donovan Mitchell married singer and actress Coco Jones, Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton married his longtime girlfriend Jade Jones, Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods tied the knot, pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis married Desiré Inglander, Chiefs player George Karlaftis and Kaia Harris got married in Greece, and Justin Herbert and Madison Beer got engaged — there also seems to have been an NFL initiative to show players with their girlfriends and fiancées. | 8/25/26 | Is Bob Iger and Josh Kushner buying the Lakers the death of the American Dream? | Madeline and Charlotte are back with an episode from the Sports Gossip Show’s Maine residency! The gals are posted up in an undisclosed location in the Midcoast to talk about the sale of the Lakers to former Disney CEO Bob Iger and venture capitalist Josh Kushner. Mark Walter, the current owner, will have made 2.5 billion dollars by flipping the team a year after he bought it. The Buss family, who used to own the team, also has some drama going on. Iger and Kushner go way back, because they were introduced by their wives. Kushner is married to Karlie Kloss, the model and investor, and Iger is married to former model and current Dean at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Willow Bay. There is a whole cast of characters involved who have bought or almost bought sports teams — the gals talk about how these people made their money, and why sports teams are becoming a place for them to park it. | 8/20/26 | Best of Sports Gossip: Taylor Swift gave a PR masterclass on Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast | Madeline and Charlotte are playing the hits! They hope you've enjoyed this trip down memory lane this week. Back in 2025, the gals recorded an emergency episode on a Wednesday night, because there was an emergency that needed addressing: Taylor Swift went on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her now husband (but then-boyfriend), Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce. The audience learned a lot about her new album, just as much as she wanted us to know about her personal life, and a whole lot about the state of media, public relations, and fame as it stood last year. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. | — | ||||||
| 8/18/26 | Best of Sports Gossip: Jordon Hudson called us and it didn’t end well | Madeline and Charlotte are playing the hits! This week, they're running it back to the episode they recorded after Jordon Hudson, UNC head coach Bill Belichick's girlfriend, called Charlotte out of the blue one Saturday night. The gals spent the next week on the phone with Jordon, thinking she'd come on the show. The interview didn't end up happening, but their experience with her was one for the books — and they're pretty sure she hasn't spoken to anyone in media so extensively since. A little over a year later, you can relive their roller-coaster week with Jordon Hudson. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. | — | ||||||
| 8/13/26 | Best of Sports Gossip: Is Tom Brady crashing out online as Gisele Bündchen moves on? A historical and sociological analysis that examines the curation of self on social media | There’s been a lot of talk online lately about how Tom Brady is using Instagram. He’s been posting lots of shirtless selfies, many strange AI-generated illustrations with motivational quotes, and he was recently seen with the social media personality Alix Earle. All of this is occurring while his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, has been posting about the new baby she just had with her new husband, Joaquim Valente. Madeline and Charlotte dive into all of this from a perspective only they can. Charlotte covered the Patriots and has chronicled Tom Brady’s online activity since he first joined Facebook in 2014, and Madeline got her masters at Oxford in analyzing celebrities' social media accounts from a sociological perspective. The gals dive into the history of Brady’s Instagram and conduct an in-depth, qualitative analysis of every single in-feed post Brady has shared since the divorce announcement. They decode the way he’s been using social media since separating from Gisele, and come to find that his experiences are more universal than one might think. Hosted on Acast. | 8/11/26 | Best of Sports Gossip: The biggest athlete weddings of all time: a deep dive into the floral arrangements | Madeline and Charlotte are back with a July 4th Wedding Bonanza. If you’re been listening to the show for a while, you’ll know that SGS goes on deep dives of athlete weddings to see how compressed the florals are. If you don’t know what that means, listen to this show and you will understand. Given that it’s the week of the 4th of July and Summer Wedding Season is upon us, the gals thought it would be an appropriate time to take a walk down memory lane and look at the biggest athlete weddings to see how “shoved-in-there” the flowers were. This episodes takes a look at many weddings, including, but not limited to, Jalen Hurts and Bry Burrows, Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, Kate Bock and Kevin Love, Victoria and David Beckham, and many more. The gals also decide this show should be sponsored by a compression sock company. So, Bombas, if you’re out there, give a holler. Hosted on Acast. | 8/6/26 | Why do all athletes’ houses look the same? A continued investigation into the world of athlete aesthetics | Madeline and Charlotte are back with another episode about athlete aesthetics. The gals have already tackled why all athletes’ weddings look the same, and now they’re looking at the places these stars live. They go through a number of athletes’ houses and discuss the various categories, from modern mcmansions to Tuscan revivals. Athletes mentioned include Luka Doncic, Caroline Wozniacki, Michael Jordan, Shohei Ohtani, Kirk Cousins, Scottie Sheffler, Venus Williams, and more. The gals also do a deep dive into mcmansions, what the concept of “home” even means, how people project wealth, and why there are very real reasons that all these houses look the same. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. | — | ||||||
| 8/4/26 | NBA weddings, Sophie Cunningham’s right-wing grift, Gianni Infantino’s failed plan to sell parts of FIFA, and Aaron Rodgers is back on his high horse | Madeline and Charlotte are back with an episode full of SGS main characters and corruption! First, some NBA weddings: Cavs star Donovan Mitchell married Grammy-winning artist Coco Jones, and Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and longtime girlfriend Jade Jones tied the knot as well. The gals talk about the other athletes who were there, the flowers, and 50 Cent. Then, some recent developments in the Sophie Cunningham situation that have to do with her anti-trans stances. The gals talk about how it’s a right-wing grift, a clear PR strategy, and how it’s impacting other people in the WNBA. Speaking of PR, FIFA has had a real disaster of a time lately when president Gianni Infantino tried to sell off a piece of soccer’s governing body. He hatched the plan with J.P. Morgan and Joshua Kushner, and for once, a planned corruption didn’t work. The gals dive into what went down. Finally, some updates about Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Brady turned 49 and posted a somewhat depressing Instagram. And Rodgers went on Pat McAfee’s ESPN show and seemed angrier at the media than usual. Which isn’t great! The gals unpack it all. First up, a few wedding athletes to discuss. The tennis player Tommy Paul married the influencer Paige Lorenze at…the Great Gatsby house? The WNBA’s Megan Gustafson married David DiLeo, and their dog and her former coach stole the show. Then, the main event: a deep dive into the saga of Aaron Rodgers’ family estrangement. He allegedly hasn’t spoken to his family in years, and there has been a lot of public back-and-forth between him and his parents and brothers. Now, it seems like he’s starting to mend fences. But let’s be honest: You never know with this guy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. | — | ||||||
| 7/22/26 | World Cup half-time show and Trump disaster recap, and another deep dive into why Tom Brady is yet again crashing out online and in real life | Madeline and Charlotte are back with their final recap of the World Cup! What a wonderful five weeks it’s been, capped off by a great Spanish victory. The first-ever half-time show was pretty weird, and Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, BTS, and Coldplay should’ve just played the hits, but at least the Muppets were there. Plus: Trump talked trash about everyone he had to stand next to on stage, including the Spanish Men’s National Team. Then, the main event: Tom Brady is once again crashing out online and in real life. The gals talk about his recent feud with Logan Paul, which seems to be laying the groundwork for a WWE match. He is also deeply involved with CardVault by Tom Brady, and a series of other strange brand deals that have a lot of people questioning what he’s up to. The gals think they cracked the code. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. | — | ||||||

An NBA extravaganza with Fred Katz | Madeline and Charlotte are back with dear friend of the show, senior NBA reporter/writer Fred Katz! The gals talk to Fred about the biggest stories in the NBA from Summer League and free agency. First up: Mitchell Robinson was traded from the Knicks to the Celtics, and he is now trolling both Celtics fans and his former teammates. Fred describes Mitch’s persona and tells behind-the-scenes stories about him (including some insights from his forthcoming book about the Knicks!) and everyone spends a surprising amount of time talking about fonts. Then, the punch heard round the NBA! Bam Adabayo punched his former teammate Tyler Herro in the face at 9am at Summer League in Las Vegas — is it because Tyler Herro “doesn’t believe in history” or anything that happened before 1950? And, finally, what is the angle that LeBron James’s camp is trying to spin with the Sixers talk? Is it real? Or is he just going to Golden State? Hosted on Acast. But first: The United States dabbled in FIFA corruption, which means America is officially a soccer country. Donald Trump called FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, and got Flo Balogun’s red card un-suspended (the gals recorded this before the game last night, but they did have a feeling it wouldn’t go well). They also talk about Norway’s Erling Haaland, the great Messi, and who will win it all. Then it’s Tayvis time! And finally: Taylor and Travis’s wedding! Taylor’s team applied for a street activity permit from July 2nd -July 4th near MSG — is this actually happening? This year, the antagonist is the outside world, and the show became a show about the show itself. The gals analyze all of the themes the show presents: Supporting hegemonic masculinity, the Cowboys’ thin, white standard of beauty, the mirage of empowerment, what it means to be famous today, and this season as contextualized by the rise of the tradwife. Plus: the origins of cheerleading, Reece’s decision to retire, Kelli and Judy leading from a place of fear, the hip surgeries that multiple performers need by the age of 25, the power imbalance that occurs when the show anoints certain women as stars, and much more. | 6/23/26 | Scottish World Cup fans are obsessed with Boston, the Fox Sports Zlatan-Lalas drama, Gisele’s Father’s Day post left out Tom Brady, Giannis goes to Miami, and athlete wedding updates | Madeline and Charlotte are back with a jam-packed episode! First up: For Father’s Day, Gisele Bündchen posted about Joaquim Valente, her new husband and father of her youngest child, but left out her ex-husband Tom Brady. Yikes! Eagles star DeVonta Smith married Mya Danielle and set a new standard for compressed flowers. Former college basketball player Haley Cavinder, on the other hand, married Jake Ferguson of the Cowboys, and it was just standard compression. The Milwaukee Bucks traded Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat, even though the Celtics appear to have offered up Jaylen Brown — which is a little awkward for Jaylen! Also, the gals don’t think this will work for the Heat, sorry to Miami. The Fever’s Myisha Hines-Allen was ejected after a team-wide Fever scuffle against the Mercury, and Caitlin Clark got her fifth tech of the season — there’s a lot of history between Mercury star DeWanna Bonner and the Fever.Serena Williams is competing in women’s singles at Wimbledon, and former Wimbledon champ & World No. 6 Marketa Vondrousova is suspended from professional tennis until 2030 after refusing to take an anti-doping test in December 2025. The Fox Sports drama between Alexi Lalas and Zlatan Ibrahimović is putting host Rebecca Lowe in a very bad position. Norway beat Senegal, thanks to two goals from Erling Haaland, and all the Norwegian fans all pretend to row in the stands! There seem to be some issues in Senegal’s camp — there’s political upheaval in the country, so buckle up for a current events lesson. Curaçao's (playing Ivory Coast Thursday) Eloy Room recorded 15 saves against Ecuador, and Argentina’s Lionel Messi became the highest goalscorer in men's World Cup history on Monday (with France’s Kylian Mbappé close on his heels!). | 6/12/26 | The Knicks’ insane Game 4 comeback is a model for all leaders: A deep-dive into the psychology of why New York is up 3-1 in the NBA Finals | Madeline and Charlotte are back with a TedTalk — sorry, episode — about the why the Knicks are modeling great leadership and how the team is winning despite a ton of distractions. The gals talk about what it was like to be in the building for the insane Game 4 comeback, the celebrities they saw, and the passion of fans who couldn’t be in the building. From Karl-Anthony Towns and Jose Alvarado’s press conference, to Jalen Brunson’s ability to believe, to OG Anunoby’s incredible game-winner, to coach Mike Brown’s embracing of adversity, New York is behaving like a true team with great leadership.
