About this episode

Alok Appadurai discusses the importance of men speaking out against sexual violence and misogyny, sharing his personal journey and urging men to take action.

It's time for men to speak out against sexual violence, misogyny and abuse of women and girls. This may be the single most important piece I have ever released and I ask that you share this with every man and women you know. In this episode, I share my own journey with misogyny, my complicity, and how we as men can be better. I am taking a stand to show women that men are no longer leaving it to women to speak up about this issue. From Epstein to national leaders, I leave no stone unturned and give voice to what women have been asking me to say for decades. Nothing will change until we men raise our voices and say enough is enough. A woman recently messaged me asking me various questions about why men stay silent and what we can do to change that. This episode is all of my answers. It's real, raw and unfiltered. I ask every wife to send this to her husband. I truly believe we can create a culture shift if more men will listen to this and take bold decisive action. They won't be able to unhear what I share. It's time to blow the lid off this thing. No more silence. I am not here to shame anyone. It's time for men to break the silence about the sexual abuse of women and girls…
