About this episode
The episode discusses the impact of a tragic event in Minnesota on parenting and the decision to homeschool children amidst chaos.
January 24th started out as a normal Saturday. We watched from the safety of our home as a man's life was taken tragically in the streets of Minnesota. Alex Pretti was helping a female protestor up after ICE agents pushed her down to the ground when he was violently tackled, disarmed, and executed. We wanted to start this episode talking about what's going on in the world; because frankly, how can we not when it has rattled us and so many around the country. This expands into a true discussion of safety and security for our family and how parenting through tragedy has become increasingly challenging. Join us for episode 7 as we discuss our decision to homeschool our children and what has continued to motivate us to do so--despite how chaotic and challenging it can be at times. We always appreciate feedback, comments, and questions. So hit us up on our socials and let's continue the conversation.
