I greet you in Jesus’ precious name! It is Monday morning, the 20th April , 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Book of Acts 12:18: ” Then, as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers about what had become of Peter.“  Now, folks, I want you to understand something. If you cannot believe in miracles, then you cannot believe the Bible because I’m going to show you a miracle that is unbelievably miraculous. It cannot be explained. If you read Chapter 12 of the Book of Acts, you’ll see that Peter the Apostle was arrested by Herod’s soldiers and put in prison. Four squads of soldiers were there to keep him from escaping because they were going to kill him after the Passover. He was bound with two chains between two soldiers and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. He was sleeping, and he had a soldier on either side, and he was in chains. Then the angel of the Lord came into the prison and literally set Peter free. When they were past the first and second guard posts, they came to an iron gate that led to the city.
