I greet you in Jesus’ precious name! It is Friday morning, the 24th of April, 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Book of Numbers 23:19: “God is not a man, that He should lie,…”   Then we go to the Book of Revelation 22:12, Jesus speaking: “ And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me,…” God is not a man that He should lie. We can rely on Him. Who can you rely on these days, my dear friend? But we can rely on Him. Whatever He has promised, Jesus will fulfil. The best investment that you and I will ever make on this earth is better than the Stockmarket. Remember what happened in 1929? The Wall Street Crash. It triggered the Great Depression. The Stockmarket just fell apart overnight. Men who were multi-billionaires woke up in the morning and found themselves paupers. Everything they had was lost, to the extent that some just committed suicide. They literally jumped out of the windows of their skyscrapers.  Who can we trust? What is a good investment?
