| 9/23/25 | ![]() The Life of An Icon Are ft. Deanna Achelle | It’s not enough to think you’re special — you have to know you’re special and be able to articulate it. And there’s nothing you have to necessarily prove to anyone, but should anyone ask or need a reminder, you better speak of your own greatness with your chestThat’s exactly what our first highlight feature, Deanna Achelle, has done. In today’s episode, she tells us exactly who she is and what she offers to the world. And I hope that after listening, you can do the same for yourself as well.Stay Connected With DeannaDeanna Achelle’s LinktreeThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
| 9/16/25 | ![]() Save Something For Yourself ft. Stanton | The church of my soul said amen when I heard the words “everybody cannot have everything you have.” Some of you may be saying that’s not rocket science Mikeya, and it’s not, but as an over-giver and overextender hearing those words from today’s feature, Stanton McCallum, allowed me to consider it from another perspective and with a sober mind. Stanton—author of From Shackles to Freedom, upcoming songwriter, youth minister, and 7th-grade exceptional children's teacher—is deeply passionate about a theme we’ve been unpacking for the past three episodes: boundaries. In today’s episode, not only does he discuss how much access an individual should get, but he also discusses how to save some of that time, that energy, that love for yourself instead of giving it all away. And I can’t wait for you all to listen.Keep Up With StantonFacebook: Stanton McCallumTik Tok: sbmccallum_Throne Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
| 9/9/25 | ![]() How Much Access Should People Get ft. Mikeya Janee' | What if I told you the reason you keep getting your heart broken by the same person, the reason people keep letting you down is not because they are terrible people (I mean some are), but because you’ve given them a level of responsibility (responsibilities) that they can’t handle. What responsibilities are you talking about Mikeya? I’m talking about the responsibility of access. For the longest time I thought that love meant giving people unlimited access to my life, sharing every part of my world, but It wasn’t until I got older (actually recently) that I realized that in order to have peaceful & purposeful relationships, that I must become aware of people’s roles and responsibilities in my life. So today I’m going to talk about 3 Ways you can identify who’s responsible to have certain levels of access to you, especially when there’s a huge transition happening in your life. | 9/2/25 | ![]() Setting & Communicating Boundaries ft. Fanci MJ | What is grace in a culture that believes canceling people for their shortcomings is the best resolve? How many chances does someone really get before the connection is severed—sometimes indefinitely? I guess that depends on who you are, and who they are, as a human. HUMANS! That’s what social work director, esthetician, and social media personality, Fanci MJ says relationships ultimately boil down to: being human and knowing yourself as one. Your triggers, your traumas, your wiring… Only then can you set proper boundaries and preserve relationships, instead of ending them prematurely.Keep Up With Fanci MJInstagram: @fanci.mjFacebook: Fanci MJLinktree: Maci's link treeThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyListen on Mikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
| 8/26/25 | ![]() Ain't Got Time (Music Feature) ft. WRIT3RS BLOCK | I was sitting on the ground preparing for my music set when I heard the 6 word declaration, I ain’t Got Time for Bull**** from the ever so eclectic band Writ3r’s Block. It was then….I found myself less focused on the structure of my performance and just allowed myself to dance freely as I received the lyrics into my heart and psyche. Because who really has the time to feed energy into what was never meant to serve us anyway? Maybe YOU do, but I sure don’t…But IF you do find yourself giving these meaningless happenings too much of your time…. Then I suggest you open up your preferred music platform, or go on Youtube and put in the search engine, or tell ya girls Alexa or Siri to play “I Ain’t Got Time” by Writ3r’s Block. | 8/19/25 | ![]() Allow Yourself to Grieve ft. Mikeya Janee' | For the past few months, I’ve had the honor of being a caretaker for my Uncle Derrick—a true father figure to me—as he bravely battled stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Yesterday, we laid him to rest. Needless to say, this has been one of the most challenging seasons of my life. Yet, if I had to do it all over again, I would, with the same family by my side. It was truly an honor to serve such an honorable man. I love you forever, Uncle Bobby. 🕊️💜 I’ll be honest—I’m so confused as to why so many people are being diagnosed with and battling cancer. If your loved one—or if you yourself—are in that fight, PLEASE KEEP FIGHTING. We have to get through this together. I’m praying and rooting for you and your loved ones every step of the way. And to those grieving the loss of someone who has already transitioned, please know you have my deepest condolences. 💐 Because of this, there will be no newsletter today. I simply wanted to share my heart with this community and thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support during this time. | 8/12/25 | ![]() Trusting In Stillness ft. Daishanna | When discussing the pursuit of goals, being still is rarely—if ever—on the list of ways to obtain them. Most of us believe that in order to get what we want or envision, it requires 100% of our participation and exhausting 16 out of 24 hours in a day. But according to this week’s multi-talented feature, Daishanna, being still is actually where the magic happens. The well-versed creative leader and visionary shares her recent revelations about what it means to be still and how it has brought her greater clarity. She even recalls a childhood memory of her mom saying, “Be still, girl,” while she squirmed anxiously in the chair getting her hair done. Back then, those three words may have felt like suppression to young Daishanna, but as she grew older, those same three words are helping her to become grounded and grow in all of her endeavors Keep Up With DaishannaInstagram: @daishannakThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
| 8/5/25 | ![]() Don't Run; Fix It ft. Myke Soun | For some of us, I think what makes adulting feel so ghetto is the level of responsibility that gets delegated and transferred without discussion. And I’m not just talking about the to-do list—I mean the mental, emotional, and spiritual management required to execute without completely falling apart.Maybe that’s why, once upon a time, the trailblazing sound architect Myke Soun ran away from responsibility. In this Season 2 premiere episode, he shares his heart and his renewed perception of what it truly means to stop running and do the inner work. Needless to say, he’s greatly benefited from his decision to do so. Yet so many people don’t realize they have the same liberty to do the same. | 5/20/25 | ![]() A Black Girl's Rant (Poem) ft. Saint Sin | Who wants to hear another Black girl rant about how she isn’t being loved properly or seen with dignity and respect? I guess the better question is: how many more Black women have yet to tell their truth—their story? I’m sure there are many. But one woman we can’t say that about is the poet, the writer, the entertainer herself—Saint Sin—who expresses the sentiments of a Black woman’s journey through love and pain so significantly. She often emphasizes the magnitude of a woman’s presence and how she should be tended to with care and intention. Honestly, this “women deserve all the love” campaign only makes sense, considering that she refers to herself as a garden… a creation that creates—as most of us are. Insinuating that women often reciprocate what’s planted into the soil of their lives. There’s no doubt in my mind that this is why she advocates for the melanated female group the way that she does. And I can’t wait for you all to hear the poem she’s created to tell the story.Keep Up With Saint SinInstagram: @theesaintsinFacebook: Saint SinThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietyMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
| 5/13/25 | ![]() Here We Go Again (Music Feature) ft. JB Samson | "I barely got time for the things I want. I barely got time for the things I need. I only got time for the things that I’m ‘sposed to." Those were the words that struck my heart when I first heard the underrated classic “Here We Go Again” by Carolina’s superstar, JB Samson. If you have a heart, I’m sure those lyrics will strike you too—because most of us live in a cycle of life we don’t enjoy or can’t seem to get a grip on. But all hope is not lost. What if the beauty is in the redundancy? In the fact that you know what’s going to happen next—and that very knowing reassures you to take the next step. Where you can make a clear decision and say, might as well do something worthwhile, like today’s feature. And that something worthwhile just might be the breakthrough you need.Keep Up With JBInstagram: @jbsamson.music.officialYouTube: JB SamsonListen to Music Throne Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
| 5/6/25 | ![]() Flow In Your Truth ft. Dee (Mils) | The path you’re meant to walk—the destiny designed just for you—doesn’t automatically come with confidence. Sometimes, it feels unsure and provokes insecurity, hindering you from flowing in a way that will lead you to where you’re going. That might mean you need roller skates or a gentle approach to life, like our revolutionary feature, Deanna Knight—better known as Dee. The founder of Rolling Revolution and She Sparks Network, Dee believes that our spirits already know the truth, and that we must honor it by flowing freely in that truth and staying rooted in our why. Dee has been lighting up timelines with her eccentric, ever-so-edgy roller skate routines, and I can’t wait for you all to see why her light shines so brightly through everything she does.Keep Up With DeeInstagram: @itsmilsonwheelsYouTube: @itsmilyonLink to book for locsThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
| 4/29/25 | ![]() 4 Ways to Create Momentum ft. Mikeya Janee' | I had just begun a crazy momentum before I left for Dreamville in my own little world. I went to the festival in hopes that I would continue it by volunteering or working at an event that already had mass momentum, but honestly the momentum I was creating at home was just as special. I was already attracting my dreams. Sure I may have to contribute from time to time, but I no longer have to force it. | 4/22/25 | ![]() Pt. 2 Done Chasing My Dreams (Dreamville Fest Revelation) ft. Mikeya Janee' | I wasn't supposed to be there. It was the last performance of the two-day Dreamville Festival, and I stood off in a corner amongst 52,000 other attendees with tears in my eyes watching two of my favorite artists: Erykah Badu and J. Cole. Sure, you could say these were tears of gratitude, but as my eyes began to flood, the only thing I could say to myself was, “This can’t be my life.” Yes, I was able to catch the once-in-a-lifetime moment of them performing “Too Deep for the Intro,” but what it took for me to get inside those walls was a persistence I’m not even sure was supposed to be activated. So how did you actually get in, Mikeya? That’s a damn good question. In this week's episode, you’ll find out exactly how it happened—and a few revelations that brought me a lot of peace. One of them being that I no longer have to chase my dreams.Keep Up With Mikeya Janee’Instagram: @mikeyajaneeWebsite: www.mikeyajanee.comThrone Talk SocietyInstagram: @thronetalksocietyFacebook: @thronetalksocietySpotify & Apple PodcastMikeya Janee AppSubmit audio: www.mikeyajanee.com/thronetalksociety | — | ||||||
