Josephine “Josie” Tarwai, a TikTok creator, nail tech, and podcast host, was found dead in her Atlanta apartment after telling friends she was being stalked. Her family said she stopped answering calls on September 28, but police didn’t enter her apartment until September 30, when she was already deceased.A private investigator described the scene as troubling, citing photos of broken nails, bruises, and scratches, details her family says were inconsistent with her usual appearance. The incident report listed “no crime,” noting she was found alone and unclothed in bed. The medical examiner’s findings may take up to 90 days. Meanwhile, her family vows to keep fighting for justice: “We believe something happened to her.
