About this episode
The episode discusses the importance of recognizing one's value in the context of faith and the role of gratitude and giving in living an evangelical life.
Several ideas have informed the creation of this piece. The verse in Isaiah that mentions the worth that God has in those who are called by his name and who position themselves to speak and act on his behalf. The readiness of the maker to put the lives of others at stake in protection of his people should constrain us in a place of gratitude as ambassadors of a greater Kingdom and drive us towards an evangelical life. We talk about this verse and other issues including the role that giving has in keeping us submitted and humble. I use a recent experience to illustrate the importance of these and other words.
