| 6/14/26 | ![]() S4 E2 Brittney Wood 14 Years Later - Pt 2: The Last Known Day | On the 14th year of Brittney Wood’s disappearance, we are revisiting Brittney’s case, taking a closer look at the records available, starting with what was publicly known in the earliest days after she disappeared. From there, we’ll follow how that information evolved, compare it against documented records, and examine where details shift, conflict, or no longer align. This isn’t about speculation. It’s about laying out the timeline clearly, piece by piece, so what’s consistent and what isn’t can be seen side by side. Before analyzing the records, this first part focuses on one question: What happened on May 30th, 2012, and how the story of that day was reconstructed after Britney was reported missing.#MissingBrittneyWood #FindBrittney #Robertsdale #Mobile #Alabama #BaldwinCounty #MobileCountyIf you have any information regarding Brittney’s disappearance, please contact:Mobile Police Department at 251-208-1700Submit an anonymous tip on their mobilepd.org/submit-anonymous-tipYou may also contact the ACCA directly:Text or call our tip line at 251-501-COLD (2653)Email info@alcoldcase.com Online via our contact form on alcoldcase.com.#IfYouKnowSomethingSaySomething #SilenceIsBetrayal #NoMoreColdCases #BeTheSparkFor families of victims of violent crime and survivors of violent crime, remember you have the following resources hereACVCC / ACVCC FB page, and hereVOCALonline / VOCAL FB page / AL Victim Assistance PortalAlabama Cold Case Advocacy (ACCA) & the Unforgotten podcast are products of countless hours of research and networking, aimed at bringing greater exposure to the cases we share. | 3/20/25 | ![]() S2 Ep2: Mary Faye Hunter | In this episode, we bring you the 1967 mysterious and unsolved homicide of Mary Faye Hunter from Decatur in Morgan County, Alabama. Like so many cases, there’s little left of the original investigation. And, though officially open, the case is not active except by her only living relative, a nephew, Jamie Hunter, along with his friend and researcher/author Brad Golson. We share some audio clips from an interview with this duo as well as an interview with the then very young girls, who found Mary Faye’s remains. There are many resources and theories about her murder and we’ll share some of these resources below. But a good Google search will bring you a treasure trove of information. But our hope is as long as we and all of you out there keep Mary Faye’s story alive, that someone will come forward and finally give her and her family resolution. #MaryFayeHunter #WhatHappenedToMaryFayeHunter MorganCountyAL #DecaturAL If you have information regarding Mary Faye Hunter’s murder please come forward through any of the following ways:Decatur Police Department, (256) 341-4635Morgan County Sheriff's Department, (256) 301-1174Our new tip line, (251) 501-COLD (2653)info@alcoldcase.com ACCA contact formSpecial thanks to:James (Jamie) Hunter and Brad Golson for their audio clips and in-depth research over the years. The Jamie Hunter Podcast Episode #3 Brad Golson - Mary Faye Hunter Jan 29, 2023Finding Mary Faye Hunter: The Real Story -Golson Custom Video Oct 23, 2018And WHNT 52 for their story in October 201952-years-later-family-of-murdered-decatur-woman-still-searching-for-answers/Other resources/mentions:alcoldcase.com Light the Path T-Shirts Vote NappiesVOCAL 2025 National Crime Victims' Rights Week Events FacebookGlow in the Bark Golf Tournament benefiting Jackson County K-9 Search, Rescue, and Recoveryhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_County,_Alabamahttps://encyclopediaofalabama.org/article/morgan-county/ACCA S2E2 Mary Faye Hunter Resource Links G-Drive#Murdered #IfYouKnowSomethingSaySomething #SilenceIsBetrayal #BeTheSpark #Alabama #NoMoreColdCases #LightThePathAlabama Cold Case Advocacy (ACCA) & the Unforgotten podcast are products of countless hours of researching and networking, aimed to bring greater exposure to the cases we share.
