The Portopia Serial Murder Case is an early adventure game made by Yuji Horii, which combines adventure game mechanics with text adventures and hard-boiled detective stories! The result? A surprising game that seems almost banal and short by today's standards, but had a huge impact on creators like Hideo Kojima, Eiji Aonuma, Shu Takumi, and many, many more.
