Egomaniacs selling their souls for the stack Flip flop on every issue, lying to your face Once you have had enough you vote the next in place Can’t you see the false paradigm is by design? You fight left or right while they rob you blind President of peace, yet sends all your money to war Don’t worry, I am sure the next guy will just do it some more It’s the illusion of choice, you cheer, you clap, But the script don’t change, it’s the same ol’ trap Pay your taxes, live under abuse While they print more money and tighten the noose Donkeys, elephants—pick your team But the same hands run the scheme
