Did you know that there is sublimation heat transfer vinyl? You can use sublimation vinyl to add beautiful vibrant sublimation ink designs onto cotton and dark colors. In this crafting project, I use HTVRONT Sublimation HTV for Dark Fabric to put infusible ink tie dye designs on black cotton t-shirts. The HTVRONT sublimation heat transfer vinyl I used is matt white so adding colorful sublimation designs to any color fabric is now an option!  Inspiration: Quick project, new kind of vinyl, sublimation on dark color fabrics!  Crafting Keepers:1. Cooling down my heat press fast by simply changing how I place it in the heat stand2. Always read the specific instructions for the specific materials and brands. I have been looking forward to cutting felt with my Cricut, but I have been waiting for just the right project! I am a hat girl, and I love creating one-of-a-kind hats, so I decided to combine my love of hats with a fun felt applique project! I found some great designs that my Cricut is cutting the felt for, and I am learning how to attach the felt designs to the hats with some simple embroidery stitches. I can’t wait to share my experience doing this crafting project with you!

Summer is here and I am excited to create a farmhouse-style “Welcome” door hanger to freshen up our front door! This is one of my favorite projects that I have done in a long time. I did need to make a choice between using heat transfer vinyl and permanent vinyl…find out which one I chose and why it was the wrong choice. I found the perfect SVG Welcome design for my project on Creative Fabrica. I have already started my all-access subscription free trial and I am excited by all the crafting possibilities!

My family is heading to Virginia this week for my niece and nephew's B'Nai Mitzvah. I wanted to make each of them a special one-of-a-kind card for the special occasion. I decided to try the Cricut Foil Transfer System to add a sparkly bulldog dog design to each of their cards. I chose the bulldog designs to represent their Mitzvah Project of volunteering at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and their bulldogs, Moose and Maisel. The cards came out beautiful, and in doing this project, I learned a lot and have some great tips for using the foil transfer system that I can't wait to share with you.

We are spring cleaning and creating a new look in my preschool classroom. I teach autistic preschoolers and my team and I have been talking about the infinity symbol for neurodiversity and bringing that into our classroom decor. I saw a reel on Instagram from Isla Sierra doing knitted wire art and I thought that I could make the infinity symbol, a couple of words, and a few shapes crafting the knitted wire wall decor.  I used my Cricut for creating two templates for the infinity symbol and the heart shape. In part one of this crafting adventure I am learning to bend crafting wire into shapes and words.

Do you want to add more personality and fun to your usual smart watch bands and bracelets? In this weekend crafting adventure, Kim Wojtalewicz gets crafty with a sublimation smart watch band to create a simple but fun spring and summer design with infusible ink transfer sheets. Kim loves the look of a simple crisp design on a watch band, so she decided to do a black and white daisy design with a little pop of color in the center of the daisies. The sublimation watch band blank was the perfect background for black and teal infusible ink. This project is definitely easy to complete in a couple of hours. Kim even had time to make some colorful bead bracelets to wear with her new smart watch band!

Want to make your project shimmer and shine? Foil iron on vinyl does just that in my latest crafting adventure. It is baseball season in our house, so I am spending a lot of time outside in the Colorado sunshine watching my son play baseball. In this project, I am using foil iron on vinyl for the first time to add a shiny blue personalized baseball design with my son’s jersey number to a visor. This is a very quick and easy project that I completed in under one hour! I decided to try the Cricut watercolor markers by making two personalized birthday cards for my son. Wow, do I love the Cricut card mat!! The card mat is one of my Crafting Keepers for this project. Watercolor is such an incredibly cool art. This is my tiny little start into the watercolor world and I will say the process was extremely enjoyable!!

In this crafting adventure I am tackling decoupage with tissue paper, Mod Podge, and glass canisters. I use my Cricut Maker and rotary blade to cut the tissue paper on my fabric cutting mat. I am dressing up a few glass canisters to hold infused vodka for my husband's birthday. Infusing the vodka was just as much fun as this crafting project. Hi Crafties! I am in an earring rut! I tend to wear the same earrings every day and I am ready to make a change. I decided to make some new earrings using polymer clay cut by my Cricut machine. I thought this would be a straightforward crafting project, but I learned that there are a lot of different ways to try this crafting project. After looking at all of the information and options, I jumped in to create some new earrings. In this project, I choose very simple shapes for my earnings, nothing complicated at all. I am not a professional, I am just having some crafting fun and trying something new. I will continue to be impressed with the creativity and talent of all the artists that create beautiful handmade polymer clay earrings. In this crafting adventure, I am sharing what I learned while making some simple polymer clay earrings cut with my Cricut Maker.

I have been watching all the social media coverage of etching stainless steel tumblers with Citristrip paint and varnish stripping gel and I wanted to give it a try. In this crafting adventure, I share my experience with this unique etching process. I share how I made a very simple tumbler holder that I put together with a pool noodle and cardboard tubes repurposed from my old vinyl rolls! I am glad I ordered a 6 pack of tumblers for this project because my first attempt at this etching process was a big fail! This is not a how-to but instead my honest opinion and experience about this crafting project. I can't wait to share both with you! 

I am wood-burning some rustic wood coasters with Torch Paste and my Cricut Easy Mini Press in this crafting adventure! Using the highest heat setting on my Cricut mini press and an amazing wood-burning paste, I am making some rustic wood coasters with highland cow designs burned into them. I created four different stencils using designs from Cricut Design Space. I cut the stencils out of Oracal 813 adhesive film with my Cricut Maker. Using the wood-burning paste was the highlight of this crafting project! I love how the wood looks, and the highland cow designs are perfect for the rustic coasters. Using the Torch Paste was easy, and the results are beautiful! I can't wait to share this crafty project with you!
