Episode 44 drops, and the boys get into it...and some light tech difficulties, but you wouldn’t know if we didn’t tell you! David gives a 1-week review of his new Tudor Pelagos, which sparks some discussion about a Black Bay Chrono Panda Dial and what the Tudor market is looking like today. This leads Matt and David to talk about potential negotiation tactics with new watches and cars. Likely wishful thinking, or maybe not as the world’s supplies no longer seem as abysmal and consumers may have some bartering power again. They discover that David’s previously unrevealed tastes are so bad when it comes to some car characteristics, that he could metaphorically bite into a raw white onion and eat it like a damn apple! Finally, the Depreciator segment returns with a look at grossly depreciated luxury SUVs. Will Matt win again or can Hirji even the playing field? Enjoy!

Well....get a load of this! In this week’s episode, Matt takes a swing and provides a brief understanding of the 911 Turbo’s inception and a look at the variations before they became liquid-cooled. The guys recap a visit to the Tudor boutique in Vancouver and David’s latest acquisition...including its current status. Matt starts a new segment, The Depreciator, where the boys look for the greatest depreciation in cars and watches over a loosely suggested time...or something like that. Back for episode 40, the boys reconvene over a couple of beers and get right into a quietly reported story about VW group cars being held in North American ports. Using embargoed parts to make up other parts is frowned upon....allegedly. This was like winding up the organ to get them talking about Dealership woes and what sets good dealers apart from bad ones. Then, Matt brings up a recent patent filed by Rolex for a new ceramic Black/Red bezel, hinting at a new ”Coke” GMT. Furthermore, they discuss the findings that making a Blue bezel with the newer ceramic seems impossible at the moment, thus rendering a ”Batman” or ”Pepsi” GMT even more sought after. A modern classic BMW 1M gets showcased, currently listed on Bring-a-Trailer. And the boys check out a new Sheffield watch/watch bundle available in 4 classic Porsche colours, before taking a solid look at the new Rolls Royce Spectre. Bryan, aka @manuell_996 on Instagram, returns to catch up and boy is there a lot to talk about. Starting with our collective disdain for the Cybertruck and the marketing gimmicks that leave us rolling our eyes, it leads us to talk about the new Macan EV launch and what we think. In which, Matt drops a bomb that he’d rather have a particular EV from Korea instead of a Macan....wait, what?!?! The MoonSwatch comes up again as the three discuss this week’s Snoopy teaser from Swatch and what it could (obviously will) mean for a future release. Don’t worry, they all have MoonSwatches so they’ve earned the right to an opinion. But they draw some interesting parallels between the MoonSwatch and 996 gen 911s or 986 Boxters. Ahhhh....first pod of 2024! Like a breath of fresh air to bring on the new year, we’re back to provide you with another dose of ear candy! We riff on a new, off-roader from Audi - the Q8 e-tron Dakar Edition. Who is this car for and, more importantly, would you buy one? The Porsche 911R Market gets a much-needed correction after the sale of a high-spec, low milage variation from the White Collection, as we found a proper example on BaT reflecting reality. Finally, the discussion of Hype Watches and what drives enthusiasm, design and creativity in the watch culture over the past year; what does this lead to in 2024 and beyond? Enjoy!!

Our 34th episode finds our best recommendations for watches under USD 1K. No surprise, David exploded the budget so Matt comes with a couple of sub-$500 gems! They also provide thoughts and recommendations on their best ”sporty” car under USD 30K; this prompts the discussion around buying as much as possible in a new car vs. a pre-owned car of greater prestige. Coming off the news and stories of the white collection sales, we review a recent JayEmmOnCars (YouTube) video where Jay dives into the 911 market of late. Has the bubble burst and are we finally seeing prices normalize? We get into it at the top of the episode. Enjoy!

Episode 32!! Can you believe it? We sure can’t!! David and Matt are joined by their first repeat guest, and friend of the show, Sandeep Parmar. He’s just returned from a trip to Paris and is eager to highlight his adventure and process of finding a new timepiece to mark the trip. Appropriate that they discuss the new Panamera, and how Porsche has opted to discontinue the Sport Turismo config in the Panamera line-up. RIP Porsche Superwagon of old! Only the EV Taycan Sport Turismo remains, marking the end of a short window where Porsche was contending with the RS6 and E63 grocery-getters. The guys all jump into a Chrono24 challenge to find what they would each pick if faced with acquiring a Jager-LeCoultre (JLC) today. Spoiler: David cheated and just went to JLC’s site...but we all win and the points are moot. Rounding out the show, additional topics get hit including Rolex threatening to discontinue the ’Pepsi’ GMT due to manufacturing issues, Travis Scott’s collab with Audemars Piguet and The Grand Tour announced their set to conclude the series. We start with walking through Bryan’s sorted watch and Porsche history, hitting all the major turning points. From his first toy watch to the first automatic, we get a great story about how his love for watches started and where it’s brought him today. This led to his passion for cars, where it started and his ambition to experience the diversity in the Porsche lineup; particularly the 911 range of cars. Through a few pints and a bottle of vino, the three each focus on what Porsche they would choose if they could only have one. The same question is proposed for watches, leading through a vast and storied discussion. Then, Matt and David profile the Maserati MC20 in all its glory. These guys have to walk back some previous comments about the milquetoast interior and lack of ”fizz” from the Italian marque, as this car slaps the soul! So does the configurator online!! David walks through some of the results of the Monaco Legends Fall Auction, with some real BIG buys and some that appropriately set the market for highly coveted pieces; especially from Rolex. This leads down a conversation, sparked by a cannabis-steeped Matt, about what attracted David to watches and does peripheral endorsement of watches by people of influence draw him to specific brands. Finally, a brief history lesson on Zagato; an Italian coachbuilder that has been making bespoke automotive bodies for Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, and more....for over 100 years. Back on track and starting with Matt’s full driving impressions of David’s GTS 4.0 Cayman, appropriately dubbed: The ’GT4 Touring’. David exposes the stratospheric rise in the resale value of another Rolex; this time the limited Daytona Le Mans that dropped in June...seriously, there is a ~600% + increase over MSRP! The boys take in the last Euro Cars & Coffee of the calendar year at Oak Bay Marina, finally taking a detour from all the damn Porsche talk! Don’t worry, they find other cars to drool over and pick on. Finally, they look at two more watches - a ”new” drop by Tag Heuer in a limited edition Carrera....err...kinda; and a recommendation from our previous guest to showcase a value diver from Certina - the DS Action Diver that hits hard!! Milestone episode for Matt and David as they have their first guest in studio!!! Sandeep Parmar joins the guys to talk about building Seiko Mods, Hot Euro Wagons, and searching for grail watches on an upcoming European trip. Also, diving into his automotive journey thus far, and what grail cars and watches he’s holding out for. David takes delivery of the often-talked-about 718 GTS this week and gives his first impressions - spoiler, it’s pretty good! A new Tag Heuer Monaco drops in Titanium with some interesting lume and they all give their take on recent YouTube videos release of the 911 S/T. It’s a full show with a third seat. Episode 22 opens with some candor and discussion on local beer...or lack thereof.
