As players, coaches and fans take a well-earned breather, we sat down for a lengthy chat with County chairman Huw Jenkins to look back at a rollercoaster season and to ask how the club might steer itself into calmer waters. Mr Jenkins gave an open and honest assessment of what went wrong last year, but also in explaining what lessons have been learned from it, and why fans should keep the faith. We also touch on whether any future investment might be forthcoming, club communications, and the relationship with the Dragons and Newport Council. We'd like to put on record our thanks to Mr Jenkins for speaking with us. Not every chairman would open themself up to scrutiny from an unofficial club podcast, and we hope listeners find the conversation of interest.
