I have been a gut health coach for over 9 years and helped hundreds of women get their gut back on track. Many people look to the brain to manage brain fog but the truth is, it starts in your gut. When the lining of the gut is compromised giving off symptoms like bloat, constipation, gas, diarrhea and pain, then the gut is leaky. This means the lining is permeable and undigested food and particles can get into the bloodstream. Once this happens the blood brain barrier is breached. Karen Howard-Goss's story starts out as a distance runner, running up to 60 miles per week. As time went on she developed intense chronic pain and was barely able to run a mile. When most people set out to heal the gut, they find a protocol that has had rav reviews and then follow it like a diet to get results. The problem with that for women is that we simply cannot eat the same thing everyday and still be successfully supporting our hormones. Yes, you may see some relief in your digestive health but you could be setting yourself up for failure with your hormones later. There is a way to be supporting both in a healing journey. I have been coaching women on gut health and weight loss for over 7 years. Ozempic is a new weight loss drug that is making its way through Hollywood and now onto the market to use for quick weight loss. The medication’s main use and approval is for type 2 diabetes and obesity. It’s now being used (and not monitored by doctors) to shed weight for those who do not fit in these categories.
