Three passengers, two of whom were confirmed to have had the virus, have died after travelling on the ship, currently docked on the Spanish island of Tenerife. Mr Butler says the New Zealander and the five Australians, three from New South Wales and two from Queensland, will be taken directly to a quarantine facility at Bullsbrook, near Perth, once they arrive in Australia. The government is expected to break its election promise on negative gearing and the capital gains tax discount in tomorrow night's budget. Finance Minister Katy Gallagher says the reforms are based on an "enormous" amount of information. And Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says any potential changes to policy positions in will be explained to the public. Shadow Housing Minister Andrew Bragg says winning over millennials will be vital to the Coalition's survival. Over the weekend, the Coalition suffered a historic defeat in the Farrer by-election, losing the regional New South Wales seat to One Nation.
