The body of 39-year-old personal trainer Elena Moore was discovered nearly a week after she went missing, and now a full week later, police still don’t have any answers into how or why Moore died.  Preliminary autopsy results show no physical trauma and did not reveal a cause of death. 74-year-old Dusty Ray Spencer is scheduled to die by lethal injection on Thursday, which will make him the oldest man ever executed in the state of Florida. Spencer’s attorneys have made a last ditch appeal to the Supreme Court, citing cruel and unusual punishment towards a 74-year-old man suffering from significant medical conditions. Spencer was convicted for the 1992 brutal stabbing and beating death of his wife Karen in front of her teenage son. Her murder led to significant changes in the way police and state courts address domestic violence. The murder trial for Karmelo Anthony may be over, but there is growing controversy and a widening divide among Anthony’s supporters and Austin Metcalf’s father. Several news outlets are reporting that law enforcement sources say a second ransom note sent to a Tucson television station claimed that 84 Nancy Guthrie was dead.  In the note, the kidnappers reportedly said they did not mean to kill her, but that she died soon after being abducted.  According to authorities, the FBI and police believe the notes were authentic and from Guthrie’s kidnappers.  TMZ is also revealing the contents of the notes they received, where the author clearly states, “time is no longer of the essence.”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Mississippi family of a one year old boy shot and killed by police is asking for the release of the officer’s body cam footage, as well as the dash camera and store surveillance video. Police maintain little Kohen Wiley’s mother and her friend were trying to get away in their vehicle after a shoplifting call when the car veered towards the officer who fired the fatal shots. Just when the Islanders least expect it, ‘Love Island’ producers threw in the Casa Amor twist into the villa.
