Anya and Wei discover a magical floating forest while searching for supplies after a flood devastates their village.
In the small riverside village of Willowbend, two siblings, Anya and Wei, lived a simple but happy life. They loved to explore the woods and play by the riverbank. But one stormy night, heavy rains turned the calm river into a raging flood. When the water finally receded, the village was left in ruins. Anya and Wei stood on the muddy ground, staring at what was once their home. “What will we do now?” Wei whispered. “We rebuild,” Anya said firmly. “But first, we need to find supplies.” The siblings set out in their small boat, paddling through the floodwaters in search of anything useful. After hours of rowing, they noticed something unusual—a cluster of trees floating on the water. “Look!” Anya exclaimed. “Those trees aren’t rooted in the ground. How are they floating?” Curious, they paddled closer. The trees were unlike anything they’d ever seen. Their roots formed a web-like mat that kept them afloat, and their leaves shimmered faintly in the sunlight.
