For this edition we're joined by Berlin based, Spanish DJ + Producer, Alienata, a veteran selector with nearly 20 years under her belt, Elena established herself in her native Spain and moved to Berlin in 2011, she has played sets at pretty much every credible and respected club or party on the circuit (including fabric, Berghain and Dave Clarke's ADE bashes at Milkweg), she's also a regular at Machine parties, doing back to back sets with Tasha and Bloody Mary plus many solo sets, including a killer at last month's E1 party, alongside Anthony Rother and the Zenker Brothers Alienata runs the Electro and Machine Funk focused 'Discos Atonicos', releasing music by the likes of Dez Williams and Cosmic Force and as a producer has released on Cultivated Electronics and Killekill plus contributed to the Tribology compilation a few years back on Machine. Welcome to the first Hardgroove Mix Tape, a new series of occasional sessions from djs and producers I'm digging. I work with a large number of acts on my record labels, so I thought why not create a podcast to showcase their talents more and get some killer mixes out there. First up, we have Trackmaster Dre aka Andre Guyvoronsky, a Russian dj and producer who for many years has been big on the house scene with his Tripmastaz alias. Releasing for the likes of DJ Sneak on Magnetic Records, Josh Wink's Ovum and D'Julz's Bass Culture plus his own self titled imprint. Trackmaster Dre is his techno-leaning and Chicago influenced side project and as the name would suggest, he's a master of a tracky dj tools, I've been playing lots of his material over the past couple of years and a month or so ago, his EP 'entitled 'Sixth' dropped on Hardgroove, so he's the perfect choice to launch this series.
