| 5/26/26 | ![]() Ep. 99 | Is High Magnesium Causing Your Chronic Pain and Burnout? The HTMA Pattern Most Women Miss | Have you ever wondered if your body is just wired to never stop? If slowing down feels impossible and over-functioning has become your default mode, this episode is going to give you language for what your body has been trying to tell you. Most women assume that high magnesium is a good thing and if that number looks elevated on a test it must mean you have plenty. But on an HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) test, high magnesium tells a completely different story and it is one that standard blood work will never catch. In functional health we call this a loss pattern. The magnesium is showing up in your tissues but your body cannot actually use it and when that happens you can experience a peculiar mix of symptoms that look like both excess and deficiency at the same time. Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, muscle weakness, depression, confusion, insomnia and that relentless wired but exhausted feeling are all connected to this pattern. And here is something most women never hear about: magnesium is a natural inhibitor of glucose absorption, meaning it helps regulate how quickly sugar enters your bloodstream. When magnesium becomes biounavailable that inhibiting effect is lost and blood sugar dysregulation can follow, adding yet another layer to your burnout symptoms and energy crashes. We will go even deeper on this next week when we look at the calcium to magnesium ratio and what it reveals about blood sugar patterns on the HTMA test. In this episode we cover: What high magnesium on an HTMA actually means and why it is not the good news it appears to be The magnesium shell pattern and why it creates burnout signs even when levels look elevated Why this is one of the HTMA patterns most women never hear about from conventional providers The connection between biounavailable magnesium, chronic pain, and nervous system dysregulation How magnesium's role as a glucose inhibitor connects to your energy and burnout symptoms Why over-functioning can look like a personality trait when it is actually a mineral and nervous system pattern The connection between childhood patterns, emotional unsafety, and why your body gets stuck in fight or flight Reflection questions to help you identify if this is your pattern A closing verse from Zephaniah 3:17 for the woman who has not felt quiet on the inside in a very long time This is holistic women's health that goes beyond the surface and looks at what your body is actually trying to communicate through your symptoms, your behaviors and your story. If chronic pain, overwhelm, confusion and exhaustion have been your normal for too long, this episode is for you. 🎙️ Next week: The calcium to magnesium ratio and what it reveals about blood sugar on your HTMA test 📩 Ready to find out what your own HTMA is showing? | 5/19/26 | ![]() Ep. 98 | Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Isn’t Just Physical: What Chronic Stress Is Really Doing to Your Body with Jenn Lormand | What if your pelvic floor symptoms aren’t just a physical problem but they’re a stress response your body has been running for years? In this episode, Cassie sits down with Jenn Lormand, published researcher, exercise physiologist, and co-founder of Tighten Your Tinkler, who has been living and thriving with stage two pelvic organ prolapse for over a decade without surgery. Together they unpack why so many women struggling with leaking, urgency, prolapse, painful intimacy, and incomplete emptying aren’t just dealing with a weak pelvic floor. They’re dealing with a body stuck in chronic stress and a nervous system that never got the signal it was safe to let go. In this episode you’ll learn: Why your pelvic floor can’t relax or heal when your body is in fight or flight. How chronic stress creates downward pressure on your pelvic organs. The connection between burnout, mineral depletion, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Why Kegels alone aren’t the answer and what actually works. | 5/12/26 | ![]() Ep. 97 | Why Your Labs Look Normal But You Feel Awful: Low Magnesium & HTMA | Have you ever walked out of a doctor's appointment with "normal" blood work but still feel completely awful? If you're exhausted but can't slow down, struggling with burnout symptoms you can't explain, and your nervous system feels like it's stuck in fight or flight even when nothing is wrong, this episode is for you. Today we're diving deep into low magnesium as it appears on the HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) test, and why this one mineral may be at the root of the wired-but-tired pattern so many women are living in. As a functional health practitioner, I work with Christian women every day who are carrying heavy loads and their labs keep coming back "fine." But HTMA tells a completely different story. It catches what blood work misses: the truth about what's happening inside your tissues before it becomes a crisis. In this episode we cover: What low magnesium actually looks like on an HTMA test and why blood work won't catch it The connection between low magnesium and burnout signs like exhaustion, anxiety, and muscle tension Why your body literally cannot calm the nervous system when magnesium is depleted The nervous system regulation patterns that show up alongside low magnesium Emotional reflection questions to help you identify if this is your pattern How motherhood, postpartum seasons, and chronic stress drain magnesium faster than you think The faith-based truth about why rest isn't weakness. It's what your body is asking for This is holistic women's health the way it was meant to be. Looking at the whole person, body, mind, and spirit, not just chasing symptoms with another supplement. If you've been told your vitality and energy should be fine but your body says otherwise, this episode will finally give you language for what you've been feeling. 🎙️ Mentioned in this episode: Trace Minerals Liquid Magnesium 📩 Ready to run your own HTMA test? | 5/5/26 | ![]() Ep. 96 | Mental Load in Burned Out Women: Why Clutter Keeps You Running on Empty with Tracy Hoth | Most women are not just tired because they have too much to do. They’re tired because they’re carrying the invisible mental load of the entire household. In this episode, I’m joined by certified organizing coach Tracy Hoth to talk about the mental load women carry, how clutter silently adds to stress, and why your home can feel like a never-ending to-do list. We talk about how physical clutter impacts cortisol, why transitions like motherhood, moving, grief, or business growth can throw your systems off, and how getting organized is not just about a cleaner home, but about freeing up mental space. Tracy also shares her simple 15-minute daily decluttering habit and explains how small, consistent steps can help you stop feeling frozen, overwhelmed, and behind. In this conversation, we talk about: What the invisible mental load looks like in real life How clutter affects your stress, focus, and energy Why organizing is both a skill issue and a mindset issue How to stop trying to overhaul your whole house at once The power of 15 minutes a day How to share household responsibilities without nagging Why your irritation can become a reminder to pray instead of resent If your home, schedule, paperwork, or mental tabs feel like too much right now, this episode will help you take one simple step forward without shame or pressure. | 4/28/26 | ![]() Ep. 95 | The Calcium Lie Part 2: High vs Low Calcium—Are You in Shutdown or Burnout? (HTMA) | If calcium isn’t just a deficiency issue, then what is your body actually doing? In this episode, we’re breaking down high vs low calcium patterns through the lens of HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis), and why these two mineral patterns show up very differently in the body. Because not all burnout looks the same. Some women feel anxious, reactive, and like they’re running on empty.Others feel numb, shut down, and disconnected, like they’re just going through the motions. These are two completely different patterns, and they need completely different support. In this episode, you’ll learn:• What high calcium (shutdown) looks like physically and emotionally• What low calcium (burnout) feels like in real life• Why one pattern leaves you withdrawn, while the other leaves you on edge• How chronic stress and nervous system patterns drive both This isn’t about diagnosing yourself. It’s about helping you recognize what your body has been trying to communicate so you can stop guessing and start supporting it in a way that actually works. If you’ve been stuck between exhaustion, anxiety, or feeling completely shut down, this will help you start connecting the dots. | 4/21/26 | ![]() Ep. 94 | Burnout Recovery for Moms: Why Motherhood Triggers an Identity Crisis with Aurie Riley | Burnout recovery isn’t just about resting more or trying harder. It’s about understanding what is actually happening in your body, especially when motherhood leaves you feeling lost, overwhelmed, and not like yourself anymore. If you’ve ever thought, “Why does motherhood feel so much harder than I expected?” or “Why do I feel like I’ve lost who I am?” this episode is going to hit home. In this conversation, we unpack why so many women experience an identity crisis after becoming a mom, and how chronic stress, nervous system overload, and deeper physical depletion all play a role in that feeling of burnout. Because this isn’t just emotional. It is physical. And if you have been stuck in burnout recovery without real answers, it may be time to look deeper at what your body is actually missing. This is where tools like HTMA, also known as Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, come in. It helps uncover mineral imbalances, stress patterns, and hidden deficiencies that can keep you feeling exhausted, reactive, and stuck no matter how much you work on yourself. In this episode, we talk about: Why motherhood often triggers an identity crisis and why no one prepares you for it The connection between burnout, fatigue, and nervous system dysregulation How chronic stress depletes your body and impacts your energy, mood, and clarity Why doing all the right things still is not working for many women How seasonal living and slowing down can support true burnout recovery What HTMA testing reveals about your body that traditional approaches miss If you are a Christian mom who feels overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and disconnected from yourself or even from God, this episode will help you start making sense of what is really going on so you can begin rebuilding your energy, your identity, and your health from the root. | 4/14/26 | ![]() Ep. 93 | Burnout Recovery: The Calcium Lie—Why More Calcium Isn't Fixing Osteoporosis | You’ve been told you need more calcium and vitamin D to prevent bone loss, but what if that’s not actually the problem? In this episode, we’re breaking down The Calcium Lie and why more calcium isn’t fixing osteoporosis, fatigue, or the symptoms you’ve been trying to manage for years. Using insights from HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis), you’ll learn why this isn’t a deficiency issue—it’s a calcium misplacement problem. I walk you through what’s really happening in the body when calcium is pulled from the bones and stored in soft tissues, why chronic stress and burnout play a major role in this process, and how common supplements like calcium and vitamin D can sometimes make things worse instead of better. We also connect the physical and emotional patterns behind high calcium, including why you may feel shut down, numb, or like you’ve had to “armor up” just to get through life. If you’ve been doing all the “right things” and still feel stuck, this episode will help you start asking better questions about what your body actually needs. 👉 In the next episode, we’ll break down high vs low calcium patterns that show up on an HTMA test so you can begin to recognize what’s going on in your own body. | 4/7/26 | ![]() Ep. 92 | Burnout Recovery for Christian Women: Why You Can’t Hear God Like You Used To (It’s Not Your Faith) with Kerry Stewart | If hearing God used to feel natural, and now it feels quiet, distant, or just… hard, this episode is going to challenge what you’ve been told. Because this might not be a faith problem. In this conversation with Carrie Stewart, we unpack what’s actually happening when burnout, chronic stress, and depletion start affecting your ability to hear God clearly. And it’s not just spiritual… it’s biological. When your body is stuck in stress mode, your brain shifts into survival. Your digestion slows down. Your hormones shift. Your thoughts get louder, faster, and harder to control. And in that state, discernment gets harder, not because God stopped speaking, but because your body no longer feels safe enough to slow down and listen. We talk about: Why “just pray more” or reading another anxiety Bible verse isn’t fixing what you’re feeling The nervous system connection behind brain fog, ruminating thoughts, and spiritual disconnection How burnout lowers your capacity to take thoughts captive, even when you know the truth The link between chronic stress, low energy, and feeling distant from God Simple ways to begin calming your body so you can hear clearly again This episode will help you understand that you’re not broken, you’re not failing spiritually, and you’re not being ignored. Your body is overwhelmed. And when you start supporting it at the root, everything begins to shift, including your ability to hear God again. | 3/31/26 | ![]() Ep. 91 | Why You're Still Burned Out: 5 Nervous System Mistakes Women Make in Burnout Recovery | You’ve tried eating better, taking the supplements, fixing your hormones, praying more, and pushing yourself to stay consistent… and you’re still exhausted. At some point, you start wondering if you’re the problem. But what if you’re not failing… and your body just hasn’t been supported the right way? In this episode, I’m breaking down what burnout actually is, why so many women stay stuck in it, and the nervous system piece that keeps getting missed in most health advice. Because burnout isn’t just emotional or spiritual. It’s physical. And if your body doesn’t have the capacity to keep up, nothing you’re doing will stick long-term. We’ll walk through the most common mistakes I see women make in burnout recovery, and how to start supporting your body in a way that actually leads to real energy, clarity, and stability again. | 3/24/26 | ![]() Ep. 90 | 3 Bible-Based Steps to Beat Burnout The Woman with the Issue of Blood, Functional Health, and Restoring Vitality | If you’re a Christian woman dealing with burnout, anxiety, and symptoms that don’t make sense, this episode is going to shift how you see your healing. In Mark 5, the woman with the issue of blood didn’t just receive a physical miracle. Jesus walked her through a deeper process of healing that addressed her body, her story, and her identity. And this is where most women are stuck. You’ve been told to pray more.To take another supplement.To find the right anxiety Bible verse and push through. But what if your body isn’t broken… it’s depleted?What if what you’re calling anxiety is actually your nervous system crying out for safety? In this episode, we walk through 3 Bible-based steps to beat burnout and how they connect to functional health, emotional healing, and restoring your body’s ability to regulate. We also talk about something most people won’t touch:how father wounds and identity issues can show up in the body, including irregular cycles and chronic stress patterns. If you feel unseen, unheard, or like nothing you’ve tried is actually working, this will help you connect the dots. Inside this episode, you’ll learn: • Why burnout is not just emotional, but deeply physical• How anxiety is often tied to nervous system dysregulation• What Jesus was really doing when He called her “daughter”• The connection between identity, safety, and your physical symptoms• Why healing requires addressing body, soul, and spirit together This is the same foundation I use inside Rooted & Restored Wellness, where we stop chasing symptoms and start rebuilding the body from the ground up. | 3/17/26 | ![]() Ep. 89 | Why Loving an Addict Can Trigger Burnout Symptoms: The Nervous System Piece Nobody Talks About with Tara Little | What happens to a woman’s body when she spends years loving someone who struggles with addiction? In this episode, I sit down with health coach Tara Little, host of the podcast Healthy Coping While Loving an Addict, to talk about the hidden toll addiction takes on the people around it. When someone you love is addicted, life often turns into walking on eggshells, trying to keep the peace, and carrying stress that never fully shuts off. Over time, that chronic stress doesn’t just affect your emotions. It affects your nervous system, your energy levels, your hormones, and your overall health. We talk about the patterns that often develop in these environments, including people pleasing and the fawn response, and why so many women who love addicts eventually find themselves burned out, overwhelmed, and physically depleted. This conversation also explores something that often gets missed in addiction recovery conversations: what loving an addict does to your body and why caring for your own health is not selfish, it is necessary. In this episode, we discuss: • Why loving an addict can push your nervous system into survival mode • How the fawn response and people pleasing develop in high stress homes • Why chronic stress from addiction often leads to burnout symptoms • Practical rhythms that help support your nervous system again • Simple nutrition and lifestyle habits that help rebuild capacity If you’ve ever loved someone who struggled with addiction, or you grew up in a home where addiction was present, this episode will help you understand what your body may have been carrying for years. | 3/10/26 | ![]() Ep. 88 | Why Avoiding Family Conflict Fuels Burnout and Keeps Your Body Tense and Exhausted | Family conflict doesn’t just stay in your head. It settles in your body. In this episode, I’m sharing what I learned the hard way after years of unresolved family conflict, intrusive thoughts, and the physical toll it took on my health. Avoiding hard conversations might feel like peace, but silence can quietly fuel burnout, anxiety, and exhaustion. We’re talking about what it really means to “agree with your adversary,” how humility leads to reconciliation, and why acknowledging hurt (even when you didn’t mean to cause it) is often the key to healing. You’ll learn: Why silence isn’t the same as peace How unresolved conflict affects your nervous system, thyroid, and energy What to say when someone tells you they’re hurt How to approach conflict without becoming defensive If you’ve been carrying tension in your body from family conflict, whether it be recent or 20 years old, this episode will help you put words to it and take your first step toward resolution. | 3/3/26 | ![]() Ep. 87 | Why Your Supplements Aren’t Working: What HTMA Reveals About Your Metabolism | Is your fatigue, anxiety, or burnout really a mindset issue? Or is something deeper going on? In this interview, I share why so many emotional and spiritual struggles women face, especially in motherhood, are rooted in physical depletion, not personal failure. Drawing from my own postpartum breaking point, I explain how years of under-fueling, chronic stress, and survival mode can keep the nervous system stuck and make healing feel impossible. We talk about: Why emotional and spiritual work often doesn’t stick when the body is depleted What it actually means to be trauma-informed in functional wellness How mineral imbalance, stress load, and postpartum depletion show up as anxiety and burnout Why “just resting,” “praying more,” or “thinking differently” isn’t enough for real recovery If you’ve done the inner work, tried to surrender it to God, and still feel exhausted and on edge, this conversation will help you understand what your body has been carrying and why healing has to be physical, too. | 2/24/26 | ![]() Ep. 86 | Your Missing or Irregular Cycle Isn’t Just Hormones: How a Father Wound Can Trigger Amenorrhea, Anxiety, and Hyper-Fixation | Real Coaching | Your cycle is missing.Or irregular.Or unpredictable. And you’ve been told it’s “just hormones.” But what if it’s not just hormones? In this real coaching call, I’m sharing a powerful breakthrough from a client who came to me with amenorrhea, anxiety, autoimmune flares, and a constant pattern of hyper-fixating on fixing herself. Three months later, her cycle returned. Not because we added another random supplement.Not because she tried harder.Not because she forced her body into submission. It started when she uncovered something deeper; a father wound she didn’t think was affecting her. In this episode, we talk about: How unhealed childhood dynamics can keep your nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight Why hyper-fixating on your health is often a trauma response The connection between fear-based praying, self-sustaining pressure, and anxiety How emotional healing can precede physical restoration Why minerals matter — but aren’t the full picture This isn’t about blaming your parents. And it’s not about digging up pain for drama. It’s about understanding that your body doesn’t separate emotional stress from physical stress. It carries both. If you’re dealing with amenorrhea, irregular cycles, anxiety, or burnout and nothing seems to fully resolve it, this episode will challenge you to look deeper. | 2/17/26 | ![]() Ep. 85 | How I Rebuilt Our Food Rhythm So My Burned-Out Body Could Finally Heal as a Homeschooling Mom of Five | Food can feel like one of the most exhausting parts of your day, especially when your kids are home all day, the pantry is always calling, and you’re already running on empty. In this episode, I unpack what really creates food-related overwhelm in homeschool homes and why simply buying “healthy food” doesn’t automatically lead to a regulated, low-stress household. We talk about: Why constant snacking and grazing dysregulate both kids and moms How lack of food structure fuels blood sugar swings, irritability, and decision fatigue Why structure around meals is nervous system support, not control How I personally handle pantry access, snacks, and meals in our home When it actually makes sense to choose the “easy” option (yes, even pizza) How to create food rhythms that support your body instead of depleting it I also share the deeper question most moms are really asking beneath the surface:How do I hold structure when I’m already exhausted? If you’re a mom who feels overwhelmed by food, tired of negotiating snacks all day, or unsure how to balance structure without creating control or rebellion this episode is for you. | 2/10/26 | ![]() Ep. 84 | Can’t Feel Joy? Your Nervous System May Be Depleted (Not Broken) | Valentine’s season can crank up the pressure to feel warm, happy, and connected… even when you’re running on fumes. In this special Sweet On Me Summit presentation, I’m breaking down why joy often disappears in burnout—not because you’re “negative” or spiritually failing, but because your nervous system is stuck in survival and your body is physically depleted. You’ll hear: •Why joy doesn’t come back by trying harder (and why gratitude journals might not touch it yet) •What “wired but tired” really means—and how it blocks pleasure •The functional root causes I see all the time: mineral depletion, under-eating, blood sugar crashes, and chronic stress load •How “pleasure” is actually a safety signal in the body (not indulgence or laziness) •Simple micro-practices that rebuild capacity: pausing before meals, creating tiny nervous-system downshifts, and learning to sit without planning the next thing If you’ve been telling yourself “I’ve lost my joy” and you don’t know how to get it back… this episode will help you stop blaming your mindset and start supporting your body—so joy can return quietly, one small shift at a time. | 2/3/26 | ![]() Ep. 83 | Are Healthy Snacks Making Your Days More Overwhelming as a Homeschooling Mom? | Food can feel like one of the most exhausting parts of homeschooling — especially when your kids are home all day, the pantry is always calling, and you’re already running on empty. In this episode, I unpack what really creates food-related overwhelm in homeschool homes — and why simply buying “healthy food” doesn’t automatically lead to a regulated, low-stress household. We talk about: Why constant snacking and grazing dysregulate both kids and moms How lack of food structure fuels blood sugar swings, irritability, and decision fatigue Why structure around meals is nervous system support — not control How I personally handle pantry access, snacks, and meals in our home When it actually makes sense to choose the “easy” option (yes, even pizza) How to create food rhythms that support your body instead of depleting it I also share the deeper question most moms are really asking beneath the surface:How do I hold structure when I’m already exhausted? If you’re a homeschooling mom who feels overwhelmed by food, tired of negotiating snacks all day, or unsure how to balance structure without creating control or rebellion — this episode is for you. This isn’t about perfection.It’s about creating safety, predictability, and nourishment — for your body and your home. | 1/27/26 | ![]() Ep. 82 | The Top 5 Health Mistakes I See Women Make That Are Slowing Their Progress | If you’re trying to “do all the right things” for your health but still feel stuck, depleted, or frustrated with your body, this episode is for you. In this episode, I break down the five most common health mistakes I see women make that actually slow their progress—even when their intentions are good. These are patterns I see over and over in women who are desperate to feel better, lose weight, calm their nervous system, and finally see lasting change. We talk about why pushing harder, restricting food, and piling on more protocols often backfire—and what your body actually needs instead: consistency, safety, and capacity. Inside this episode, we cover: Why punishing your body keeps it stuck in fight-or-flight How restriction (even “clean eating”) can block healing The hidden ways women unintentionally starve themselves Why vague “fix me” goals don’t work—and what to do instead How doing too much too fast overwhelms the nervous system If your body feels tense, resistant, or like it’s holding on to weight, fatigue, or overwhelm, this episode will help you understand why—and how to start shifting that pattern. Your body doesn’t need more intensity.It needs safety, consistency, and a slower path forward. | 1/20/26 | ![]() Ep. 81 | Stop Doing Too Much—Why Multitasking and Over-Giving Are Stealing Your Energy | Coaching Call | What if the reason you’re exhausted, foggy, overstimulated, and burnt out isn’t because you’re doing something wrong—but because you’ve been doing too much for too long? In this episode, I share a real coaching call with a client who hit the breaking point after years of multitasking, overgiving, and carrying responsibility that was never hers to carry. Her honesty is raw, brave, and deeply relatable for any woman who’s been living in survival mode under the label of being “the good Christian,” “the responsible one,” or “the strong one.” We unpack two major burnout drivers that almost no one talks about: Multitasking and constant input overload (even the “productive” kind) Overgiving without boundaries—internally and externally You’ll hear why monotasking isn’t laziness, how nervous system overload shows up as brain fog, racing thoughts, hormonal issues, and emotional collapse, and why your body eventually forces you to stop when you won’t choose to. We also talk honestly about: Why saying yes out of obligation is costing you your health How “helping” can cross the line into self-destruction The difference between Christlike service and chronic self-abandonment Simple, practical ways to start regulating your nervous system again—starting today This episode is for the woman who: Feels constantly overstimulated and overwhelmed Can’t slow her mind down no matter how hard she tries Feels guilty resting, saying no, or choosing herself Is realizing her current pace is not sustainable If your body has been whispering—and now screaming—for rest, boundaries, and simplicity… this conversation will land. | 1/13/26 | ![]() Ep. 80 | I Thought God Had Abandoned Me — Until This Encounter in a Hard Midlife Season | Have you ever reached a place in your Christian walk where it felt like God had gone silent? In this deeply vulnerable episode of Christian Wellness for the Weary Woman, I share what it was like to walk through burnout, emotional overwhelm, and physical depletion—and honestly wrestle with the belief that God had abandoned me. After years of dramatic encounters with the Lord, burnout brought me into a season of silence: no clear direction, no comforting presence, and a nervous system completely shut down. I open up about how physical burnout, mineral depletion, postpartum depletion, and chronic stress don’t just affect the body—they can mute your spiritual life, your prayer life, and your ability to worship. In this episode, I share a powerful New Year’s Day encounter with God that gently shifted my perspective—not by removing the battle, but by reminding me that He was standing as my rear guard while I fought for my health, my family, and my calling. We talk about faith-based healing, trauma-informed wellness, functional health, and why true healing requires addressing the roots, not just the symptoms. If you’re a Christian woman navigating burnout, midlife exhaustion, hormonal imbalance, anxiety, or spiritual numbness, this episode will remind you that silence does not equal abandonment—and that God is still redeeming your story, even when healing feels slow. This conversation is an invitation to honest faith, emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and whole-body restoration—spiritually, physically, and emotionally. | 1/6/26 | ![]() Ep. 79 | 3 Ways Burnout Triggers Perimenopause Symptoms in Women Under Chronic Stress | Burnout symptoms in women are often mislabeled as perimenopause — especially anxiety, intrusive thoughts, irregular cycles, exhaustion, and emotional overwhelm. In this episode, we explore how chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation, not hormone failure, are often the real root cause. From a functional health and holistic wellness perspective, this episode explains how long-term overwhelm, unresolved stress, and living in nervous system fight-or-flight can disrupt hormone balance, drain vitality, and create what feels like a midlife crisis in women — even in your 30s or early 40s. In this episode, you’ll learn: How burnout puts the nervous system into survival mode Why anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and emotional instability are common burnout signs How nervous system regulation supports hormone balance Why your menstrual cycle is a stress report, not a countdown clock How burnout contributes to irregular cycles, PMS, and low vitality Why healing burnout requires rest, nourishment, and regulation — not pushing harder If you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or experiencing burnout symptoms and searching for natural anxiety remedies, holistic treatment of anxiety, or functional health answers, this episode offers clarity and hope. As a holistic health practitioner, I share my personal experience with postpartum burnout, nervous system collapse, and hormone disruption — and how restoring vitality begins by listening to your body instead of normalizing exhaustion. This episode is for women experiencing: Burnout and chronic overwhelm Anxiety and intrusive thoughts Hormone imbalance Nervous system fight-or-flight Midlife crisis symptoms in women Your body isn’t broken. If you’ve ever loved Jesus but felt angry, distant, numb, or abandoned by Him in the middle of chronic stress, exhaustion, or illness, this conversation is for you.

We talk about how prolonged stress and mineral depletion impact the nervous system, hormones, and emotional regulation—and how that physical depletion can make faith feel fragile, muted, or even inaccessible. | 12/23/25 | ![]() Ep. 77 | Chronically Exhausted? The ONE Mindset Mistake Keeping Christian Women Burned Out |
If you don’t truly believe a program will work, it won’t. In this episode I explain why mindset and alignment — not just workouts or another “fix” — decide whether healing actually sticks. I share my own experience: joining a popular program while still depleted, triggering PMDD and intrusive thoughts, and learning that calorie deficits, fiber-heavy plans, or one-size-fits-all fixes can worsen stress, anxiety, and fatigue when your head and heart aren’t in agreement.

What you’ll hear:

Why belief and mindset matter more than the program itself for lasting change.

How being depleted and chronically stressed keeps you in fight-or-flight — burning minerals and blocking gut healing.

My HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis) approach: testing mineral balance and building a targeted nutrition and gut-healing plan instead of chasing symptoms.

The danger of treating symptoms with supplements alone and why intuitive alignment (head + heart) is essential to real recovery from burnout, fatigue, and intrusive thoughts.

A short reading from James on the double-minded life and why being unsettled keeps you stuck.

Cassie Hutton Wellness Resources:

📘 Download your free guide: The Overwhelm Detox Planner: https://cassiehutton.aweb.page/

🌿 Learn more about working with me: https://join.cassiehutton.com/

🤍 Join my free community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/cassiehuttonwellness

🎧 Follow me on social media: https://www.facebook.com/thecassiehutton

📩 Email: contact@cassiehutton.com
| 27m 45s | ||||||
