Dee Dee Blanchard fabricated illness after illness, collecting charity, sympathy, and total control. When Gypsy finally found a way out, it ended in her mother's murder. We examine the crime through the lens of the real victim in this case: a young woman who had never been allowed to know what it felt like to be healthy, and who made a devastating choice to survive.
