About this episode

In this episode, Amy Valladares shares her journey of maintaining sobriety for over 8 years through unconventional means, discussing trauma, recovery techniques, and offering guidance for others on their recovery path.

Welcome to the show, beauty. This one...was an episode I was not sure I'd be able to make in terms of vulnerability but here we are, timeline hopping and all. In episode 56, I dive into how I have maintained sobriety for the past 8+ years through non-conventional means: beauty, devotion, embodiment and eros. I discuss some potentially triggering things including, r@pe and of course, addiction. I take you on a journey from trauma and dis-embodiment to finding my power, pleasure and innocence once again. Throughout the show I offer a different view point on recovery and guide you through a quick somatic visualization process along with other techniques to support your own recovery path. I currently offer 1:1 embodied yoga + recovery mentorship and have a brand-new, 3 day mini course coming out later this month for women in recovery and those sober curious. I guide women back home to themselves after periods of overwhelm and addiction through sensual yoga, embodiment practices and mentorship. Much love, Amy Learn more at: https://www.clearchannelyoga.com
