About this episode

Dwain McFarland and Matthew Freedman debate their differing evaluations of the 2026 NFL Draft class using scouting and data-driven models.

Dwain McFarland and Matthew Freedman go head to head comparing two completely different approaches to evaluating the 2026 NFL Draft class. Freedman brings his scouting-based Big Board rankings. Dwain brings the data-driven Rookie Super Model. They don't always agree — and that's where it gets interesting. Jordyn Tyson is WR1 on the Big Board but WR3 in the Super Model. Carnell Tate is WR2 on the Big Board but WR1 in the Model. Denzel Boston grades out as a borderline first-round pick on the Big Board but the Model's closest comps are Cedric Tillman, Javon Baker, and Jakobi Meyers. Nicholas Singleton is RB6 on the Big Board but RB3 in the Model. We go prospect by prospect through every wide receiver, running back, and tight end to find where scouting and data agree — and where they clash. 📋 Wide Receivers: Jordyn Tyson — BB: WR1 (7) | RSM: WR3 (85) Carnell Tate — BB: WR2 (9) | RSM: WR1 (92) Makai Lemon — BB: WR3 (16) | RSM: WR2 (86) KC Concepcion — BB: WR4 (24) | RSM: T-WR4 (81) Denzel Boston — BB: WR5 (28) | RSM: WR6 (77) Omar Cooper Jr. — BB: WR6 (32) | RSM: T-WR4 (81) Chris Bell — BB: WR7 (40) | RSM: WR9 (74) Zachariah Branch — BB: WR8 (52) | RSM: WR12 (72) Elijah Sarratt —…
