He is one of Australia's best-loved performers, and whether he is singing, dancing, hosting, acting or plumbing, Shane Jacobson is a rare talent and always has plenty on his plate. Which begs the question: Why would he buy a pub in regional Victoria? Well, he did, and the new owner of the Dederang Hotel in the Kiewa Valley joins us (after an eight year break) to share the story of 'Oops I bought a Pub,' his latest television and entrepreneurial adventure. Peter Fisher was part of one of Australia's most successful TV comedy shows. And even though Kingswood Country finished over 40 years ago, people still remember him for his role. But as you will discover in this week's episode, there is much more to Peter's life than playing Craig Bullpitt.  Peter took his acting skills and training to the corporate world with great success. It is our pleasure and privilege to have one of the greatest cricketers of all time on the first proper episode for 2026, and 'proper' is the correct term, as our guest is Lord Ian Botham of Ravensworth in the County of North Yorkshire, OBE. But he happily answers to 'Beefy.' A passionate winemaker, we discover more about his range of Sir Ian Botham Wines and how hands-on he is in every facet of the business. Naturally, cricket did come up and Beefy shared some strong opinions about the game and the modern players, as well as a scary encounter with our own Mervyn Gregory Hughes in the NT.
