When we give away what we have, logic tells us we should have less—but God's economy operates on entirely different principles. Solomon discovered this truth not through theoretical theology but through careful observation of life itself, watching ants store provisions and noticing how generous people somehow never run out of what others need. Are our hearts pointing outward toward the needs of others, or inward toward protecting what's ours? When we live with open hands—looking for the student who needs help, the single mom struggling, the neighbor in distress—God's arrows begin pointing back toward us in ways that defy human math. This isn't about manipulation or treating God like a cosmic vending machine, but about recognizing that generosity is the genesis of blessing.

When was the last time that you took a moment to just be still in the presence of Jesus? For many of us, it has been far too long. We are in such a hurry all the time that we have no margin for peace. Jesus promises us an abundant life... so many of us squander that simply because we don't prioritize time to sit with Him. Pastor JD Wiegand brings an encouraging reminder to us... we must sit in Jesus' presence, and be present. We can't make time stop, but we can be intentional with the time that we have.

"We as humans grossly overestimate what we can get done in a year, and we grossly underestimate what we can get done in a decade." What have you established as the foundation of your soul? God's promises are yes and amen -- but life still happens... Our foundation determines whether or not we will hold fast to the promises of God or whether we will crumble in the face of troubles. What was God thinking when He created marriage? Marriage is God's genius method for transforming us into Christ-likeness. Men have a deep-seated need to be believed in and respected by their wives—a need they cannot meet themselves. Conversely, women need to be cherished above all else, to know they never have to compete for their husband's affection with hobbies, careers, or even good things. When we stop chasing marital bliss as a feeling and embrace marriage as a crucible for becoming more like Jesus, we discover that the very friction we resist is actually God's tool for our sanctification. Talk is cheap. If we truly believe that people need the Gospel of Jesus Christ, why are we not sharing it? If that question feels blunt... good. Faith is radical, calling us to walk on water and give beyond our ability. Wisdom, on the other hand, reminds us to get a job, avoid debt, and save little by little. The tension between these two voices creates the space where God speaks most clearly. In week 3 of Vision Month, we are challenged to ask one simple question over every line item in our budget: 'Is Jesus at the center?' Whether it's housing, entertainment, savings, or giving, positioning Christ at the center of our financial decisions transforms money from a potential master into a servant. Money makes the same promises God does—peace, security, significance—but only God delivers. When we steward our resources with both faith-filled generosity and practical wisdom, our world gets larger and larger, and we position ourselves to be used by God in extraordinary ways. When praying into 2026, one phrase kept coming up; "Press In. Press On." What does it look like to press in to the Lord? What does it look like to press on in our faith?
