We are back for 2025 and what better way to kick things off than popping into Better Best Bargains with our fabulous special guest Helen Colby, who absolutely stole the show in her role as Tracey in Here & Now. Released on October 25th 1999, It has sold over 1.3 million copies and remains their only UK number 1 studio album to date. We had the absolute pleasure of talking to Gavin Scott from Chart Beats recently. While many of you may know him as the co-host of "A Journey Through Stock Aitken Waterman" and "A Journey Through Aussie Pop," for us, he's the former editor of Smash Hits Magazine here in Australia.Gavin initially worked for TV Hits in 2000 before transitioning to Smash Hits in 2001. As a massive Steps fan himself, he always made an effort to feature them in the magazines, even facing internal resistance at times.
