You don't need anything special, just yourself. Go ahead and let your shoulders drop away from your ears. Close your eyes if that feels right, or soften your gaze downward. We're going to start by coming home to your breath—that anchor that's been with you your whole life, just waiting for you to notice it. Breathe in through your nose for a count of four, hold it for a beat, and exhale through your mouth for six. Again. Four counts in, six out. Feel that?
