Welcome to Part 3 of Surrendering the Sword, the true story of former Imperial Japanese Navy pilot Nobuo Fujita. Nobuo was the only enemy pilot to bomb the United States mainland by fixed-wing aircraft in WWII and in the history of the country. This final episode of the series features a historic audio recording of the May 28, 1962 sword surrendering ceremony. The tape was made by my father, Norm Oberst, for his radio station, KURY.
