Hell and Gone

On June 5, 2025, 36-year-old Chicago Police Officer Krystal Rivera and her partner, Carlos Baker, were working patrol in the East Chatham neighborhood on Chicago’s south side. They saw an armed man outside of an apartment building and began to chase him. Moments later, Baker fired his weapon. But instead of striking the suspect, he hit Rivera — the officer beside him, his patrol partner, and his former girlfriend. On May 11, 1992 20 year old newlywed Jeninfer Judd was viciously attacked and murdered at home on North Park Avenue in Baxter Springs, Kansas.  At  2:30 that day, Jenifer’s husband of nine days, Justin Judd came home from work and found his wife’s body in the kitchen.  33 years later Jennifer’s murder is still unsolved. On December 22 1981 around 1 to 1:15 am, a driver was going down a dark road MINERAL SPRINGS MOUNTAIN ROAD near the town of Valdese, North Carolina.  It was a dark, snowy night and there was fresh snow on the ground the night before. They saw that the car had run into an embankment, and that the driver's door was open, as they approached the car, they realized that the car was still running. Next to the car, in a ditch, was the body of a young woman, 19 year old Rhonda Hinson.  She was lying on her back with her arms by her side.
