So when it's neither for us, there is no point for us to commit or suffer for it. For this audience, she wants the property to generate rent and be a backup home just in case for the future. In my opinion, it's not the greatest buy from an investment pov. And it's not gonna really resolve her struggle of traveling 3 hours to work as she is trying to build a family at the same time. In my opinion, I would not put up so much money upfront for this property. If I really need to stay close to my workplace, I can always rent.
