Stop Tonguing Your Dog

About this episode

The episode discusses the trend of sequels and remakes in movies, with a focus on recent releases and personal anecdotes.

‘Tis all go, girlies! The lads have been busy with touring, work commitments and buzzing social lives: so busy that Kevin has had to colour-code his Google cal. PJ was at his nephew’s confirmation this week, and was shocked to discover that kids aren’t getting slapped by the bishops as part of the ceremony any more. He’s even more shocked to learn that this was actually never common practice, and concludes that it must have been exclusive to the northside of Cork. This week, the topic is sequels, prequels and remakes. With the Devil Wear’s Prada 2 coming out soon, Kevin and PJ are wondering why every movie that’s released these days seems to be a sequel or a remake of a beloved classic. They talk about the best sequels of all time (Shrek 2, anyone?), movies they’d love to see remade, and pick their favourites from the High School Musical trilogy.  Purchase Happy Campers Tour Tickets  here 🎟️ Sign up to the  I'm Grand Mam Patreon  for more stunning content ✨ Hosted on Acast.
