Estimato describes how the medical community dismissed his complaints of painful erections and how one doctor threatened to commit him to a mental institution.Later after reading a National Geographic article about a tribe in Africa ritually stretched their skin to extraordinary lengths, he invented manual methods to stretch his penile skin until he no longer suffered painful erections. Allie is a 27-year-old transfeminine woman who, despite being intersex, was assigned male at birth and experienced penile circumcision as a result. She began restoring her foreskin as a teenager.
