While serving as an artillery officer, he narrowly survived a deadly dynamite explosion. That moment didn’t just change his career path—it reshaped his entire philosophy on purpose, service, and long-term thinking. Rather than rushing into answers, Abraham chose patience. He came to the United States in the late 1960s, studied at New York University’s Stern School of Business , and earned advanced degrees in international finance and developmental economics. After a brief but valuable experience at JP Morgan , he realized that a comfortable salary would never give him the leverage needed to address the deeper social issues he cared about.
