Today on the podcast I interview the amazing, Miguel Gonzalez, who is an Emmy winning Art Director specializing in animated television, TV specials, and feature films. At Nickelodeon, he led the visual direction for The Casagrande's show and movie, helping define their distinct look through background design, layout, props, FX, and color. I have lend my talents to- Apple & Onion, Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, Uncle Grandpa, The Loud House, and so much more. Miguel is also known for collaborative leadership and a keen eye for visual consistency, I excel at guiding projects smoothly from concept through to final delivery. He is also passionate about teaching and mentoring younger artists, fostering their growth and helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in animation. On today's podcast I had the the very distinct pleasure of interviewing one of the internets most well known comedy viral stars, "Bad Daddy" Jacob Hoffman! His "Bad Daddy" character is known for his lighthearted, sexy but cheesy compliments and puns to people, often with a "Dad joke" style. We talk about the origins of this character and get to know theis creator just as himself. This interview really open up my eyes to what he does for the world because everyone needs to light, even if it's just for a short while each day.

On today's episode we are featuring my amazing long time voice actress fried, Kayla Jackson! We get to talk about her career/business in voice overs, cover various subjects about our industry and so much more. Growing up on anime, video games, and Saturday morning cartoons, Kayla eventually decided to turn her passions into a career. Her voice has been leant to well renowned clients such as National Geographic, Taco Bell, Ford, Mailchimp, Walgreens, and various others. Kayla can be heard on a number of commercial, nonbroadcast, and character projects across an array of genres. You’ll probably find her somewhere nerding out about video games or whatever latest fantasy novel she’s reading.

On today's podcast we have a first for this season! We had the extreme pleasure our interviewing music composer, Joshua Carro. He has composed music/SFX for projects such as as the upcoming video game Borderlands 4 (Gearbox Software), the Original sound track for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Revenge (video game) and so much more. He has had years of experience writing music outside of genre — post-classical, electronic, ambient, noise — building a deep personal language before ever scoring to picture. Plus he has taught and collaborated across disciplines, including visual arts and performance, always focused on developing voice over style. We get to hear about his journey into music composing, SFX creation and even dive into how he got the opportunity to be apart of the in-house composer at Gearbox Software for Borderlands 4.
