In the first message of our new series, Breaking Up With Yourself, Pastor Joshua explores how sin doesn’t just change what we do, it can fracture who we are. What begins within us can eventually affect the way we live around us.But what sin has fractured, Jesus can make whole. We can’t simply will ourselves into wholeness, but through Jesus, we can find forgiveness, freedom, and restoration."I said yes to Jesus!" - Click Here!Connect with us!instagram.com/lifechurchroaFacebook.com/lifechurchroa Hosted on Acast. As we wrapped up Missions Collective, Pastor Joshua shared about our fourth pillar: Encouragement. Looking at Philippians 2:19–30, we were reminded that encouragement shows up, shares the load, and strengthens the mission. We may not all be called to go, but we can all play a part in holding the rope and helping others keep carrying what God has called them to carry."I said yes to Jesus!" - Click Here!Connect with us!instagram.com/lifechurchroaFacebook.com/lifechurchroa Hosted on Acast. In week 3 of our Hold the Rope series, we explored the third pillar of our Missions Collective: Understanding. Pastor Joshua led a missions panel featuring Thaddaeus Jordan, Pastor Baba, and Pastor Sarah as they shared different perspectives on what it means to live on mission. From global missions in Africa to raising up the next generation and recognizing mission opportunities right here in our own backyard, we were reminded that missions starts with understanding. And that understanding helps us see where God is calling us to serve. "I said yes to Jesus!" - Click Here!Connect with us!instagram.com/lifechurchroaFacebook.com/lifechurchroa Hosted on Acast. In Week 2 of our Hold the Rope series, Pastor Joshua continued taking us through the pillars of the Missions Collective by focusing on the second pillar: Giving. Through 2 Corinthians 8, we’re reminded that generosity starts with surrender. God isn’t just interested in what we have in our hands, but He cares about what’s happening in our hearts. Giving invites us to move beyond convenience, trust God with what He’s placed in our hands, and become active partners in His mission. Because giving isn’t simply about funding the mission, it’s about joining the mission. Tune in as we discover the grace behind generosity and what it looks like to move from eagerness to obedience when God calls us to give."I said yes to Jesus!" - Click Here!Connect with us!instagram.com/lifechurchroaFacebook.com/lifechurchroa Hosted on Acast.
