About this episode

The episode discusses privacy issues in homes, sibling boundaries, school lockdown culture, and modern parenting challenges.

This week we’re talking about privacy… or the complete lack of it… in our homes. We get into sibling boundaries — who can walk into whose room, who absolutely cannot walk in on someone showering, and how navigating boys and girls under one roof adds a whole new layer to “just close the door.” Then we spiral (naturally) into school lockdown culture — how our kids are stuck in the middle of serious safety drills while somehow also knowing every move from Bad Bunny’s halftime show and the plot of Mean Girls. The duality is wild. Are they street smart? Survival ready? Or do they not know how to toast a bagel without assistance? We also talk about a different kind of privacy — the stuff in their heads. When do you push them to share? When do you back off? Are we entitled to every thought because we’re their parents… or do they get to keep some things just for themselves? It’s boundaries, gender dynamics, modern parenting anxiety, and us trying to raise self-aware humans who can both survive a lockdown and maybe one day do their own laundry. Basically: chaos, questions, and zero clear answers. Just the way we like it.
