Train on Fire is a story about feminism's legacy, told through the lens of a woman erased from history. Kitty Marion, the woman in question, was a singer-turned suffragette at the height of the women's suffrage movement in 1900s London. Every actor in the show shares the role of Marion, passing the legacy (and the burden of it) between each other. Ellie is also the co-founder of Chalk Musical Theatre Dramaturgy, and has worked with musical theatre artists from the US, Canada, Australia and Korea to develop their work.
